We had an unforgettable stay at this homestay! Luky, our host, was absolutely wonderful, he took us on so many activities and was an excellent guide, always making sure we had the best experience. His whole family was incredibly kind and welcoming. The homestay itself was beautifully decorated with care, and they even prepared a mattress on the balcony so we could relax facing the stunning view. We were warmly welcomed with fresh coconuts upon arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. The meals were varied and absolutely delicious every day, and everything was clean, comfortable, and very relaxing. We truly had a magical time and felt at home. I can’t recommend their kindness, hospitality, and the comfort of this homestay enough!

My stay at Senjas was a wonderful, authentic and real experience with a local family. It was real because I was the only guest and experiences and incredible time with them. It is a very new homestay, so everything was very clean, new bathroom with a sitting toilet (not usual in Raja Ampat), an own beach, beautiful sunsets on your veranda. The food was incredible delicious, I liked their spices, also important to mention it was an all-inclusive stay with a lot of food for myself (on booking it said only breakfast). You have access to the nearby village and can walk to it. The family was helpful and did day trips with me for snorkelling adventure. If you are into socializing with other travellers, it might not be ideal because I was there alone but there were 2 bungalows.

The best homestay we’ve ever stayed at! We were absolutely delighted with this homestay. Everything is done with so much care and attention—the space is incredibly clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The food is simply amazing, prepared with dedication and full of flavor. The family running the homestay is incredibly friendly. Although they don’t speak English, they use translation apps to communicate, and if their nephew is on vacation, it’s very easy to communicate in English. Tomás, who manages the homestay, is fantastic! He made sure to take us to all the places we wanted to visit and even offered us a boat tour around the area on our last day—a wonderful gesture! The bungalow is simple but cozy, equipped with a large fan and a mosquito net, ensuring a comfortable and restful stay. The location couldn’t be better, with sea views on both sides of the island and breathtaking sunsets that are truly magical. The homestay is completely isolated, offering the perfect environment for tranquility and relaxation, despite being very well located close to key spots. Speaking of location, must-visit spots like Pyanemo, Tugas Island, and Melissa Garden are just 5-10 minutes away by boat. The only downside is the lack of network coverage at the homestay, so it’s important to plan all your activities and dives in advance if they’re not directly arranged with the homestay. The bathroom is simple but super clean. The shower is traditional, using a bucket, but it’s surprisingly pleasant. If you’re looking for diving experiences, we highly recommend Pam’s Divers. They are slightly farther away, but they are extremely professional and friendly, making the experience even better. An unforgettable experience—we highly recommend it!

This place looks so beautiful, the family have created such a beautiful, place with shells and driftwood decorating everything, we loved it. The food was incredible and the room was very comfy. The house reef was beautiful and we saw mantas straight from our room! Thank you so much for such a beautiful stay.

I loved everything about our stay at Meos Ambower. To stay above the water and see the fishes, stingrays, black tip sharks passing under the bungalow; waking up at night to see so so many stars and falling stars in the sky and planktons shining in the ocean… with just the noise of crickets and soft waves as they got to the shore. Beautiful sunset views. And the food was so good! I’m a vegetarian and they made me eggs every lunch and dinner and there was always rice and delicious vegetables. Banana fritters at 16pm were so good. House reef is nice. Nick wasn’t there but Solai who welcomed us and helped us during our stay (he is the only one there that speaks english) is very kind and thoughtful. Wifi worked almost all day long. For me it was a transcendental experience.

Clean beach, crystal water, private bungalows, power and WiFi on for 24hrs. Hot showers, excellent plentiful food. The staff were amazing. V, Farra and Eypat made our stay so enjoyable. Jill and Gerry were great hosts, professional right to the end. Dive centre well equipped with excellent guide and boat had all the safety gear. Beautiful and diverse dive sites around Fam islands. все I can say only the best about this home stay. We have stayed in the different places on Raja ampat, so we can compare with others. The Avinsea is the best. The homes are always clean and comfortable. Janis, owner this home stay is very attentive and capable man. He is macho. He wanted make for us all our desires. He showed us all interested places with the boat. The prices were acceptable. My husband likes fishing. Janis tried to do the best for him. My husband fell in love with Janis. Home stay is situated in that area where you do the best snorkeling and sea many fish, dauphins and even whales. All the best of this area we saw exactly here. All family is very kind and attentive: his wife Karson, his son Jose (he was taking us to mountains), his nieces Desi and Karoline ( they cooked delicious food). In the evenings they sung for all their tourists their songs. It was so touching. We fell in love this family. We advised to Janis to write in booking.com “all included” not only breakfast, because we were fed 4 times a day although on the internet on their page indicated only breakfast. If we have another chance to get there we would stay exactly in Avinsea. Lena and Andrew
