There are also plenty of amazing warungs to eat local food. More of a family culture, not as crowded as Gili T. Excellent value for money and the service culture of the residents is amazing. Easy to hire bicycles and scooters (electric) - essential. So many little gems to be found. A 2nd hand book shop, lovely places to eat, Gili Coffee Roasters became a favourite. Gili T was way too busy and commercialized, Gili Meno too quiet and Gili Air just right. A bit worried that they do not have a good recycling or rubbish disposal system, locals only look after their patch and nobody cares about the rest- this policy will eventually stop so many travellers coming.Food was great, locals friendly and helpful.Biking around Gili T is easy if you are careful, but soft sand means it's too hard on the other two.Guest review byAnonymousNew Zealand

It's near the best bars and restaurants of Gili Air (2min walk) but still really peacefull. There are 6 private ' cabans' and there is a bamboo house with beds/dorms but the hotel doesn't have a hostel vibe at all, it's really chill, people are here to relax, to enjoy the lovely surrounding: lovely pool, surrounded by palmtrees!
