The Gili Islands are truly a beautiful place, with crystal-clear waters. Especially Gili Meno, where you can escape the crowds of tourists and the noise of nightlife. But be careful — unfortunately, one of the biggest issues on the island is the litter left behind by tourists, which takes away some of the charm of these amazing islands. There are no cars here; people get around using electric scooters or small horse-drawn carriages. If you're looking for fun, head to Gili Air or Gili T. It is an all natural experience! Walking around the islands, bare foot in sandy roads, eat in restaurants in the sand, swim in crystal clear waters and with the company of the turtles! The island is amazing, however there is a lot of rubbish everywhere, great vibe on the island and you are literally surounded by the beautiful sea, amazing sunsets. Island vibe simple and quieter Not any shops but adequate for simple supplies Excellent response from Medics when called upon for unwell guest., Restaurants with varied Menus Attended a Family wedding function on the Isand which was amazing, perfect. The bungalows were very comfortable with air con and nice terrace. The breakfast was very good. The staff and the owners were very helpful and friendly. The family organized for us a snorkeling tour. It was early in the morning and we avoided the crowds and we were first on the spots. There are a lot of nice warung to eat near by. We will come back, it was the best place i have ever been. The rooms are great. The highlight is really Adakz, the hotel manager. He took very well care of us and organized everything for us. He really has at heart the wellbeing of his guests and helping the larger island community.
