Amazing stay and fantastic experience. What an absolute delight it was to stay at room Kalimatan. The house is owned by Laurent- the property is newly built, finished to an excellent standard and interesting design that creates a great space that fully integrates with the countryside. All this within easy reach of the more busy and touristic town of Labuan Bajo. We chose to stay here after a 1,200 KM trip around the island and before heading back to Labuan Bajo and we are so pleased that we did. There is a true saying in Flores and that is that guests are welcomed with open arms and treated like the people’s family. That’s a true description of the hospitality that we received, that went well beyond our expectations. Our room was spacious and the view from the terrace was spectacular particularly at sunset. The bed was so comfortable, we slept with the doors open, there was no need for the mosquito net provided and we enjoyed the gentle breeze and fresh air. The property is rural and consequently there is limited choice of restaurants within easy reach, but this is not by any means a problem. On our first nights stay Laurent cooked us a delicious pasta meal and on the second night we were treated to a BBQ of fish and rice cooked and prepared by Damas. Furthermore Damas welcomed us to a special night of local music played with his hand made guitar which is a night we will long remember.

Beautiful, off grid, peaceful and unpretencious. Slow cooking, minimum electricity, maintained by a group of wonderful people who work really hard and are very attentive to the guests' need. Bring something for the children if you come, as there is little to go around. The smells, tastes and colours of the garden are divine. It is ideal for children to get in touch with nature and we wish we could stay longer. Not for the IG tribe.

We all love our villa with private pool! Everything was exceptional starting from the staff, the nature and the Villa itself! The location is a bit far if you consider day trips to Labuan bajo and day trips to Komodo Island but totally worth it! Amazing location in the middle of the jungle. Quiet, peacefull and beautifull. We highly recommend this villa. You feel at one with nature. Laurent is a great host, and Lydia is so sweet and makes amazing breakfast.

The pool, the beach, the restaurant, the service. We had a very relaxing stay at Sudamala and would recommend this resort to anyone visiting Labuan Bajo. They accommodated to let us check in early as we arrived early in the morning. They also helped us book one extra night as our return flight was cancelled.

It's a new and beautuful big hotel, very spacious and clean room with an amazing view from the balcony. The breakfast was as good as it gets in Indonesia, based on our experience and you can have the snorkling equipment, take a canoe or padel for an hour free of charge.
