I stayed for 3 weeks here and had an amazing time. Rinto and Ahmed we amazing and helped out with everything I needed. It was like a family here and the vibe was amazing. It was the perfect mentawai experience and the waves were amazing.

Great location, less than 10 min walk from Tua Pejat Harbour and 15 min walk from Jati Beach. Close to warungs and local mart. Big comfy bed, hot water shower, good WiFi connectivity and AC in room. Recommended for a short stay.

We had an incredible stay at this hostel. A room right by the ocean, amazing local hospitality, and breakfast on the beach every morning. Everyone went above and beyond to make our 8-night stay unforgettable. From snorkeling activities and fish BBQs on the beach to scooter rentals, everything was perfect. The staff at Awera are genuinely second to none. They are all incredibly welcoming, helpful and they made our stay what it was - the trip of a lifetime. Special mention must go to Un, Jupen and the activities team for turning me into a pro surfer, helping my husband catch the waves of a lifetime, and the epic snorkelling and mangrove SUPing. Justine was another stand-out; her positive attitude and thoughtful yoga sessions under the rising and setting sun were some of the highlights of our trip. Niko runs an amazing restaurant and the food put out by the chefs was out of this world (esp. the tuna tataki and mie goreng)! From an admin perspective, everything runs so smoothly at Awera. In particularl, the transfer service made us feel like vip’s and made for a particularly stress-free transfer experience.

We came to this hotel after a bad experience on another homestay and were so happily surprised. The location, the beautiful beach, the people (shoutout to Cia who was super welcoming and lovely), they attended to our every need and made really good and fresh food for us everyday. Breakfast was also very good with hot dishes like pancakes and eggs. We had a lot of fresh cut fruit every morning. They cleaned our room everyday and changed the sheets which was awesome. The pool is so pretty, definitely a plus in the Mentawais. Also, shoutout to robin the hotel dog who made our stay even better! We have nothing but good things to say about Nasara and hope to come back in the near future 😊
