Truly a haven of peace. A simple hotel that prefers to be hidden from prying eyes to preserve what Bali has to offer us. The reality is even more surprising. Everything is done to make you feel good. If you love nature and a change of scenery then you will be happiest. we spent time at sekumpul waterfall and fiji waterfall spectacular views with tropical green forest, very refreshing for the eyes and mind while here Think of this homestay as a place to rest, recharge your batteries and take full advantage of the perfectly maintained garden where nothing is left to chance. 3 houses with different atmospheres. Very nice staff. Cheap and excellent food. Massage services, scooter rentals etc. are offered. We felt more like we were staying with the locals and it was a pleasure. Beautiful sunsets every night. I could chat for hours but for sure we will be back again and again.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable, with a spotless and well-maintained bathroom. The breakfast was a highlight—highly recommend trying the noodles, pancakes, and, of course, the coffee! The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and hospitable, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect for exploring North Bali, and one of the best parts is that you can walk to the breathtaking Sekumpul Waterfalls. A special thank you to Agus, the hotel’s driver, who made our trip even smoother with reliable transfers. He speaks English well, drives safely, and offers fair prices—highly recommended! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Staying at D’Kailash Retreat was one of the highlights of our trip to Bali. The wooden bungalows are simple but really comfy, with good mattresses and everything you need to feel at home. We had an unforgettable stay in this truly unique location, nestled in the heart of Bali’s most stunning natural surroundings. The accommodation is small and wonderfully peaceful, with beautifully crafted bamboo-style rooms that offer both charm and comfort. The pool is a lovely spot to relax, perfectly complementing the serene atmosphere. What really sets this place apart, however, is the incredibly warm and attentive staff. They go above and beyond to ensure your stay is nothing short of perfect. A particularly touching gesture was when one of the staff members drove all the way back home to fetch traditional clothing for us, so we could attend a Hindu ceremony at a nearby family temple—an experience we’ll never forget. They are also an invaluable source of local knowledge, able to connect you with the very best guides if you’re interested in learning about Balinese customs and history, or if you simply want to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Sekumpul. The area is breathtaking, with terraced rice fields, lush, aromatic vegetation filled with herbs and fruits, and of course, the magnificent waterfalls that are nothing short of awe-inspiring. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly—it’s a hidden gem and a perfect retreat for those seeking a genuine and enriching Bali experience.
