Very unique, beautiful and authentic accommodation, we really felt right at home in this cozy cottage! The village of Killeagh is very charming, there's a grocery store just 5 minutes walk from the cottage, that was super convenient.

The Cozy was a wonderful experience. Don’t expect the Ritz, that’s not what this stay is about. This is a clever homely beautifully presented little cabin. A combination of up cycling and new, green living in a tiny and lovely wooded location. Small kitchen and shower/chemical toilet was perfectly clean and thoughtfully provisioned

Staying at Happy Hill is better than staying at a five-star luxury resort or your own home. The owners are two of the most thoughtful and welcoming people I have ever met and know how to make you feel welcome without ever being intrusive. We arrived after a terrible night in which the little girl had stomach problems, we had to check in at 8pm, we advised that, given the situation, we would do it immediately at 5pm. We showed up, desperate, at 3pm and Anne and Mark were ready. They had changed our room to allow us to manage the situation more comfortably and they were very attentive. The rooms are delightful, furnished with true taste and extremely comfortable. They are very clean, I had to lie down under the bed to retrieve a peluche and I didn't see even a speck of dust. The breakfasts are plentiful and delicious! Ask for the yogurt because, I don't know what they put in it, but it's amazing. The place is quiet and we used it as a base to travel around the south west of Ireland without problems. Go there! You won't regret it!

Barbara was the most lovely host, welcoming and informative. She even managed to book a place for dinner for us at the last minute. Our room was so comfortable overlooking the town. Breakfast was a really nice treat for us as well.

Thea and Fergal were the most delightful hosts. We felt very welcome and immediately at ease. Each morning there were delicious homemade treats from Thea, and Fergal was always around for cuddles. I couldn't have imagined a better stay, and we will definitely be coming back.

loved the location and decor. food was top class and so were the drinks. unfortunately the fire alarm went off numerous times during the middle of the night waking people and scaring them. but the lady at reception think her name was jade handled it absolutely brilliantly will definitely be coming back after her service. thanks again to her

Comfortable stay in a quiet quiet location but very central for amenities, sightseeing, beaches etc in East Cork and Waterford. Good food & drinks with friendly and helpful staff at The Old Thatch Pub & Restaurant just a few minutes walk from the accommodation.

The room was so light and airy due to the velux windows.

The room was so light and airy due to the velux windows. Spotlessly clean and lovely furnishings. Very comfy bed and a great shower. The owner was very helpful with messages about our earlier check in, the directions to the lodge and where to find our key and room location. Very peaceful place and a great pub just a few minutes walk away.
