Our host exceeded our expectations, as we were also able to hire him to pick us up at the airport, and drop us off the next morning. As well as we were able to hire him to take us to Jaffa on a day trip, as well as back to our hotel. 10 minute or so walk to the beach and Carmel markets. Good cafe/eatery on ground floor and very close to various other cafes and restaurants. Stayed 6 nights. Room was a decent size. Well appointed with everything you need. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Balcony overlooking street was a good size. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Free beers and wine, filtered water and coffee up on the fourth floor communal seating area. And roof terrace with decent views over Tel Aviv.
