It was a beautiful campsite with amazing views of the Dead Sea and the stars shone brightly in the night. Lots of hammocks and cozy places to sit and view the stars at night. Highly recommend for a nice getaway and time out on nature without feeling like you’re “roughing it”’

We booked a deluxe room requesting a view. We had a large king size bed, a comfortable sofa, a very large bathroom and a balcony facing the entrance to Wadi Arugot. It was really lovely to relax on the balcony in the AM and PM. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. There was a huge selection of fresh fruit, veggies, salads, short order cook for eggs, cooked dishes including shakshuka (!), cereals, breads, yogurts and more. We chose to eat dinner at Ein Gedi kibbutz rather than driving to Ein Bokek for a meal at the mall. There was again, a huge selection of foods to please the vegans, vegetarians and omnivores. The Ein Gedi Botanical garden is so diverse with many exotic trees and plants. We really did not have time to use the spa or the swimming pools. Ein Gedi Kibbutz is quite close to several trails for hiking.

Our stay at Zehava’s Zimmer in Ein Gedi was truly special. The location is peaceful and breathtaking—surrounded by desert cliffs, close to the nature reserve and with views of the Dead Sea. What really stood out to us was the creativity and charm of the space. The room is thoughtfully decorated with beautiful antique pieces and artistic touches that give it a warm, unique character. You can really feel the care and personal touch that went into creating this space—it’s not just accommodation, it’s an experience. Zehava and her history herself were incredibly welcoming and kind, and made sure we had everything we needed. The kitchenette was well equipped, and the outdoor area was perfect for relaxing in the quiet desert air. Place was extremely clean, very well decorated, host was very friendly and kind. Fabulous facility with all-you-can-wish-for in the kitchen. Easy check in and check-out, easy access to interesting locations nearby.
