I recently stayed at the Postcard Cuelim hotel, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. Nestled amidst stunning colonial architecture and lush tropical surroundings, with only 6 spacious, classy and private bedroom, this hidden gem offers a serene stay like no other. From the moment I stepped into my spacious Cuelim bedroom, I was captivated by its charm. The beautiful antique furniture added a touch of elegance, and the bed was hands down the most comfortable I've ever slept on. It felt like a haven of tranquility after a long day of exploring beautiful Goa. 🌿 But what truly sets the Postcard Cuelim apart is its exceptional service. Ranjan, the resort manager, and his team went above and beyond, to ensure that my stay was perfect 💖 As a solo traveler, I was touched by their kindness and genuine care, making me feel like a part of their own family. Always willing to do anything i could need, with a smile in their faces ✨ Regarding the food , set a la carte, divine would be an understatement. The breakfast spread offered a great variety of choices, and the best part was being able to indulge at any hour I pleased. It was the ultimate indulgence, adding to the overall experience of luxury and relaxation. The location of the hotel is simply breathtaking, surrounded by ancient Portuguese colonial mansions, and tranquil beaches just a short drive away. Palmeira’s resort was a perfect stay! The town of Velsao is nice and calm, and the hotel lets you borrow bicycles to ride around town and to the beach. The facilities are very nice, the pool and gardens are beautiful and the restaurant has very nice food and many options ! The staff are ALL so nice, helpful, and take the extra time to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. There is a real sense of care and community at Palmeira’s. Sunil, the manager, took time out of his day to help me rent a scooter near by, and was very attentive and welcoming! The common area by the pool is very conducive to exchanging with other guests and that was also lovely. It’s also very easy to access the many beaches along the coast by walking or car/taxi/scooter to discover more of south Goa. Thank you to all the staff who made my time so so enjoyable !

    This is one of the few places in Goa which is less crowded.

    This is one of the few places in Goa which is less crowded. The city is well connected, and one can enjoy the beaches and at the same time be away from the crowds. Do not forget to visit the Pier Hotel at the Beach at the Marmagao Port Trust Building. Be there before 1700 hours to see the setting sun. But ensure that you book you taxi for the whole way back since getting cabs after 1600 hours is not possible

    For one, maybe two nights stay it’s ok.

    For one, maybe two nights stay it’s ok. Not much to do, beach was dirty, rubbish in the water as well :( not much to do, couple of restaurants, taxi drivers constantly asking you if you need a cab, even if you’re sunbathing..
