Very quite and cosy lodge. Nicely located for some peaceful days with a waterfall in the backyard. The waiter Artur was the best and most friendly and professional I met on whole Iceland. Food was good and room sizeable (family room) unfortunately only with roof window.

We spent one lovely night at the hotel. The room was really spacious and the view, amazing! Breakfast was delicious with quality ingredients. The staff so kind and accommodating. There’s a supermarket 5 min walk from the hotel. So far our best stay while in Iceland!

Everything was great, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was delicious and healthy, the room was tastefully decorated, and the location was very close to the lighthouse, making it a convenient place to chase the Northern Lights. However, the kitchen in the guesthouse is currently not open for use, so it's less convenient if you want to cook your own meals. Overall, this accommodation experience was wonderful! I really liked this guesthouse.

Great location on a quiet street close to everything. Very clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Comfortable bed with plenty of blankets and pillows.

The best place we stayed during our trip. Incredible location, cosy and comfortable. Highlight was being visited by the hosts dog, who showed us up Helgafell the next day.

The location is really a amazing. These are only two “house” in the middle of a beautiful area, fully equipped. It was much more than we expected. It has everything you want to enjoy your stay there. Town is only 7 minutes by car driving down the road
