I enjoyed living in a home designed by an award winning architect. Beautifully appointed with everything to expect in a luxury home. A short drive to glacier hikes and puffin tour. It was a splurge but worth it.

I liked everything. The property is exactly as on the pictures, even better. Comfy rooms, hot tub, tasty food, beautiful surroundings…Wake-up call for Nothern lights was also helpful, and you can see them very clearly right from your window, if you are too lazy to go outside. Very good selection of breakfast treats - smoked salmon was so delicious! Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect stay! Would love to stay longer)

It was super remote at the foot of the mountains and Vatnajökull National Park which means that it’s only a 40 min drive to Diamon Beach and the Jökulsarlon Glaciers and there are a lot of other great sights in the area! The apartment is small but cozy and very clean (modernized and renovated). There’s a little kitchen and fridge so you can bring food and cook and they have oil, coffee, tea, salt and pepper there for you to use free of charge. We liked that there was no TV other distractions. Because it’s so remote we got beautiful shows of Northern Lights.
