we loved everything. the stuff members were very kind and helpful. the breakfast was excellent. the room was perfect, although too small. the location on the main road no. 1. it was to expensive for us.

We loved the cabin and its surroundings. It's secluded enough to feel isolated, yet a five-minute drive from the grocery store, gas station, etc. It was clean and all the appliances were in perfect working order. We cooked dinner and enjoyed the quiet, relaxing atmosphere.

Set in a peaceful, natural setting, Eyjólfsstaðir Guesthouse is just a 10-minute drive from Egilsstaðir and the local airport.

We booked for two nights and wished we could have stayed much longer. This place is a true gem! The host was very kind, professional and gave us plenty of local tips, wonderful! The cabin was incredibly cosy, surrounded by beautiful woods and incredible organic food from the farm. The location is perfectly situated to visit East Fjords of Iceland. We were on a road trip for our honeymoon and stayed across multiple accommodations, this was by far our favourite.
