The accommodation is located on the very outskirts of the village of Aprica. It is a very quiet location with no tourist noise. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, there is even a small store room, for example for ski equipment. The kitchen is very well equipped and you can cook almost anything.     Aprica is primarily a winter sports resort and our one night stay on a road trip was to cut a long car journey into a more manageable trip. The town was very quiet and most places were closed up as it was the time between summer visitors and the winter season starting. However, the B&B where we stayed overnight was of a very high standard of accommodation and the breakfast was excellent quality and plentiful.

    Hotel Derby is a great spot for a ski vacation for 1 or 2 nights if you just need a roof above your head for the night. It is a bit oldish but price wise great. It is close to the ski lifts. Parking was convenient. The lady at the reception at check in was super friendly :). The lady at the restaurant next morning was extrermely rude :( There are ski rental possibilities nearby, we recommend Larino Sport, excellent service.

    1. The location was great. Exactly on the main city street. It was around 5 minutes from the lift 2. The hotel provided a place for parking 3. It was the first room in Italy, with parket on the floor instead of marble :) 4. Wifi was good 5. There were a few batteries, which can be used for the wet closes :) 6. The staff was very friendly and helpful

    We LOVE the restaurant, very tasty plates, and the maître Salvatore, is very professional…. he makes us wish to return in this place. The animation with Lorenzo was perfect. The life music makes you feel good and relaxed, he has a sweet voice. We liked the swimming pool and the position of the hotel. Thank you for everything ❤️

    It was beautifully decorated and very convenient. While we were there it rained everyday, so it was very useful to have underground parking. It is also very close to the Main Street (about 4 supermarkets), and walkable through the back street. The place is extremely cosy and perfect to spend the winter months with family.

    The staff is amazing, very attentive and kind. The breakfast was abundant, the room cleaned and shiny every day. The women managing the hotel are always available and help you find the best solution to any problem you might have :)
