Poggio delle Molare A gem of a retreat Our experience started with an incredibly warm welcome from Monica and Eleanor who led us to our beautifully decorated tasteful suite housing a super king size bed with soft Egyptian cotton sheets, volumptuous pillows, l found myself searching for all the manufacturers labels wanting to create that effect at home. The bathroom was to die for with a whirl pool bath in one corner, individual his and her sinks on the vanity table with bath and shower toiletries, soft thick towels , dressing gowns hair dryer and flip flop slippers on the shelf below. A magnificent walk in shower. Each of the bedrooms has a private balcony overlooking the gardens which are shady and peaceful leading down to the beautiful pool area. They don’t provide lunch or dinner but give you a wonderful breakfast of baby croissant, pastries and breads with jam. Plates of cheese and ham, mozzarella with tomato, yogurt with honey and fresh fruits , delicious coffee and juice. Monica told me that she wanted to create a place that was peaceful and tranquil, we certainly felt that and our only regret was that we only discovered it on our last day before going home. I am so looking forward to paying them another visit.

Amazing location right in front of Lago di Bracciano! - good selection of pastries and continental dishes for breakfast. The rooms we had got a magnificent view of the lake , castle , tennis courts, pádel court and the swimming pool. The hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly! Spotlessly clean, with all the amenities! in the kitchen and in every room, it has an espresso coffee maker and capsules to make your coffee. also, there is a cafe for French Coffee. It’s a lovely medieval town close to a large lake that has other equally pretty towns worth a visit. The lake is very quiet out of season and in the summer is probably busy with boats and other traffic. Restaurants in Bracciano are reasonable and served good food for a variety of tastes. Nearby national park is worth visiting and offers forest walks and beautiful views.

Bracciano is vey good for a day trip from Rome, to visit the Orsini-Odescalchi Castle inside: furniture (I love the ‘baldachino’ beds), guns and armors, and for photos of the lake and medieval town from the terraces. In the evening there’s a special lighting for a picture of the Castle. There are very good restaurants around the castle like the Ristorantino and Trattoria del Castello.

An old Italian town with a castle overseeing a lake with reasonably priced and good Italian food and gelato. The medieval castle Castello Orsini-Odescalchi is well preserved. From sightseeing point of view and for food, it would have been enough for 2 nights.

Amazing town, high up in the mountain overlooking Lago Bracciano. Recommend a car, but there’s limited parking nearby. Walk up lake is steeeeep! Do not try to walk on the road, because there are no sidewalks. There is a VERY STEEP paved short-cut.

A beautiful romantic place near Rome.

A beautiful romantic place near Rome. The accessibility to Rome by train or car is perfect. The train goes to Rome after 30 minutes. By car you can reach the city using the motorway in 40 min. If you park your car in the parking house at the Jonio or Laurentina metro terminus, you have the opportunity to explore Rome in the evening until 0:15, when the garages close. Parking costs just 1.5 EUR. However, the town of Bracciano itself is worth the tour, including the castle and the shores of the volcanic lake.

Excellent location with a beautiful view to the lake and the castle and close to the center of the town and all the restaurants and grocery stores. Quiet, spacious, and very clean apartment with comfortable rooms, large terraces, balconies, and effective AC, which is very important during the hottest month in Italy. The host was super responsive and helpful, many thanks! The perfect place to go in a group, as everyone has plenty of private space.

This Hotel is absolutely fantastic! just located on the Bracciano lake side, it is spectacular in the eraly morning. The staff is very welcoming and nice, and very helpful! The Restaurant is stellar, with local and typical roman menues nicely interpretated by the chef , and also a very good quality for the price. Highy recommended!

Fantastic place. We stayed 2 nights but we would wish to stay longer. Our room was greatly pained, comfortable and spacious with access to the garden. All staff of the hotel is very kind and welcoming. Restaurant is good and the garden of hotel is beatiful. Swimming pool is nice and warm.

Amazing apartment, neat, clean and very comfortable. We arrived early and asked Laura if she could store our bags. Instead she gave us the keys and let us check in- with no problem!! Bracciano is absolutely stunning- felt like stepping into a scene on a postcard!
