Amazing location and beautiful surroundings and nature, the view is breathtaking. The photos do not do it justice at all! The hosts are wonderful, very attentive and helpful, the interiors are great and everything is there in the kitchen to be able to cook and great attentions to detail. Very very spacious! The drive is fine, in the rain too, you get used to it. A gem of a place - we extended our stay as it was just what we needed - peace, relaxation and tranquility. Make sure you check out Castelnuovo town - a charming little gem in the middle of Italy with beautiful architecture, friendly locals and a few good boutique shops

Amazing view during the excellent breakfast.The host was wonderful...could not do enough. We had an apartment located about 100 yards from the hotel.As we were on a cycling holiday it was more than adequate. We would visit again.

A beautifully clean home and rooms. All the staff are extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfasts with most dishes either homemade or local.

The small but quaint apartment offered breathtaking views of the valley. The kitchenette was a thing of beauty in its design and had all we need for a three night stay. The lady owner and her brother-in-law do speak some English, enough to offer help where needed. Good bed and quick to get hot water. The faucet water here was excellent for drinking. The one and only local restaurant offered a simple but good menu. We also got our favourite dish after ordering it two days ahead. The village has a very safe feel since it is so remote from cities. You may want to get yourself some food on the way up here since there is only the little store/bar/ restaurant in town and that is closed on Wednesday.

Out host Rosella was extremely friendly and obliging. The property was spotlessly clean and very well appointed, especially the kitchen with all modern conveniences provided. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning through the property was a bonus in the high temperatures that we experienced. Located within the medieval hamlet of Postecosi it was the perfect location for us. We would recommend this property and will most definitely return.

    This is a uniquely beautiful hotel in a fort right on the square of Camporgiano. The rooms were perfect and Manola made the stay so comfortable for us and our 1 year old son. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. The location is perfect to explore Garfagnana.
