The location right off the marina. The breakfast was superior our first morning. The hotel had a place to eat outside where I could watch the fishermen. Castellammare was a cute town. Rooms were very bright and clean. We had a nice balcony facing the water.

Excellent breakfast with a stunning view which alone made the stay worth the money. In addition to that , the facilities are all new and there is a general coziness and comfort feel to the hotel. The location is beautiful as well as near to the port and the city centre with all the great restaurants and cafes. The free on-site parking that is quite spacious made the whole experience even more stress free and convenient. Staff were friendly.

Such a beautiful hotel with phenomenal views! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome, and we arranged an early check-in with no problems due to our flight time. The room was clean and comfortable with generous outdoor space and effective air conditioning. The infinity pool was gorgeous, and we often had the area to ourselves during our September stay. We found our stay incredibly relaxing. We were happy with the breakfast options available - fresh pastries and cakes, at least 2 types of bread, cheese, ham and eggs, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, and tea. Just across the road from the hotel, there's a decent restaurant/pizzeria as well as an excellent food truck serving paninis, street food, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, which you can enjoy while making the most of the fabulous views from the Belvedere viewpoint or nearby picnic area. We used the footpath just near the viewpoint to walk to and from the town centre during daytime hours. However, if you're not particularly confident with negotiating unpaved paths, this might not be for you! We wouldn't recommend walking on the main road into town due to traffic. In the evenings when we wanted to enjoy the many restaurants and bars in Castellammare del Golfo, we prebooked taxis using the online booking form at https://www.taxicastellammare.it We'd love to return in the future!

Tina's house is out of the city, so she was waiting at the bus stop when I arrived, showed me all the bays in the area that evening. Her house is very beautiful, comfortable and tastefully furnished, with a big court. One of the bays was a 20 minutes walk away. She took me to the enter of Riserva Zingaro park, because I wanted to do excursion, and to the bus station, when I left her house. I stayed here only 2 nights, but next time I'll choose her house again, when I travel to Sicily.

We never got to stay at Hotel and had to cancel in the last...

We never got to stay at Hotel and had to cancel in the last minute due to my Husband having lost his wallet which we found 3 hrs later in a Police Station. My wife cancelled the reservation but we now see that we were charged for 2 days not having stayed there at all.Slso we attempted to find address of the Facility but never found it and there for had to stay in the Hotel on the water in town. We would still like to have a refund . Please contact us.

IT'S A LOVELY, FRIENDLY, QUAINT LITTLE TOWN NOT AT ALL EXPENSIVE LOTS OF FISH RESTAURANTS, PIZZA BARS AND BEAUTIFUL SCENERY ALL WE COULD HAVE IMAGINED EVERYTHING IS WITHIN EASY REACH, AND WHEREVER WE WENT, WE FELT WELCOME AND SAFE WE WENT THERE FOR A FAMILY WEDDING BEST WEDDING I WILL EVER GO TO PERFECT

Beautiful and vibrant city, lots of restaurants, bars .

Beautiful and vibrant city, lots of restaurants, bars . It can get busy during celebrations. Parking can be challenging as very few spaces available around city centre , where you can pay 5€/day . The private parking are expensive up to 20 euros/day. The beach is not busy ,the water is warm and very clear. You can rent a boat for half day for €150 and sail along the coast or share a boat with other people for €45 / person.

A very pretty town about an hour's drive from Palermo.

A very pretty town about an hour's drive from Palermo. Just off the autostrada. Long, sandy beaches on the far side of the town with excellent restaurants. Well serviced by large and small supermarkets (sometimes better value) as well as fresh fish shops and butchers. The town is still (mercifully) still unspoilt. Lots of pretty cafes and gelateria. Pretty harbour providing day trips and perfect for evening promenading!

Gorgeous seaside town!

Gorgeous seaside town! Make sure you have a night there to enjoy the port and nightlife - live music on stairs spilling out from a bar. Very vibey We went to scopello (half day) and zingaro from there. Both magical places .

Castellamare del Golfo is a beautiful town with a harbour,...

Castellamare del Golfo is a beautiful town with a harbour, pedestrian zone, beautiful views, excellent restaurants and ice cream. In the evening the city is full of life. It's magical to wander the streets and pass illuminated restaurants and various nooks and crannies, or browse the shops selling local produce.

Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, decor unpretentious, but a spacious and practical hotel. Francesco at desk extremely helpful with parking and with advice when asked - he speaks good English. Location perfect for this lively town and tourist attractions in Northwest Sicily. We had a room on the second floor, overlooking a nice courtyard. Everything worked well. Beautiful views right outside the hotel. Very nice breakfast.

Hotel Cala Marina is a gem in Castellmarre Del Golfo. The view of the marina from our balcony room was magical. The location was perfect, walking distance to everything and easy to get to with a car. Parking was available, staff were friendly and always happy to assist and the hotel was nicely appointed and very clean. We highly recommend this Sicilian style boutique hotel and look forward to our return.

Really nice hotel in the centre of Castellamare. We booked last minute as we had another hotel which didn't work out. Staff were really helpful. Location is great. Decor of the hotel is a little bit dated but that seems to be true in a lot of Sicily. Room was really comfortable. Overall it's a great option

Perfect location for families with children who would like to sightsee north-western part of Sicily . Big calm apartment, equipped with all necessary things. Breakfast were really nice, hotel staff even prepared food for our baby who can't eat products which cointain cow's milk.
