This was my second time at this hotel and I will absolutely be back again. The view off the back balcony is incredible. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. We love the walkability of the area - dinner, some shopping, and a nice treat.

We had a 12 nights holiday in the hotel and everything was great: from location, viewing, service, to all the nice people from the hotel, chefs - great food, waiters - very friendly and attentive and reception/cleaning - attentive and supportive!!!!! Great experience and stronger recommended!!!!! Many thanks to all the staff for the entire experience!!!

Old school charm and very friendly staff in beautiful chiante. You cannot not fall in love with this little hotel. It also offers free parking almost next to the front door and we had a ground floor room, which is very convenient when you have some mobility issues.

Collelungo, a slice of paradise in the heart of Chianti country! We took advantage of the Prima Spesa service on arrival, a great selection that fed us amply for two dinners, two breakfasts, morning, afternoon and pre-dinner snacks, and we gave away the extras to our neighbours. Fabiola is an absolute gem. We hadn't realised that there were no taxis in Castellina in Chianti and Fabiola was wonderful helping us to work around that. You really do need a vehicle here, so don't be tempted to do without one! We had a fabulous stay, sampling not only Collelungo's fine wines but those on offer from other vineyards. We also highly recommend visiting the Pomona winery which Fabiola can help arrange. Thoroughly enjoyed our pool time also and have no hesitation recommending Collelungo to anyone wanting an authentic Tuscany experience. Thank you so much Fabiola! ❤️

Perfect villa in Chianti, beautiful views, nice pool, very good breakfast, delicious dinner. Stella and Ettore went above and beyond, even took us from/to the bus stop! Good hiking routes and wineries nearby. We would stay there again!

    The place feels like a little castle, full of charm and...

    The place feels like a little castle, full of charm and character. The hosts were incredibly kind and waited for us until late at night to give us the keys and explain everything about the surroundings. Breakfast was nice, and everyone we met was genuinely friendly and welcoming. The view is absolutely outstanding. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby for dinner, which made our evenings even more enjoyable. We didn’t use the pool since it was already out of season and quite cold.

    Castellina in Chianti is a great place to stay in the Heart of Chianti; a lovely town with a great selection of restaurants from pizza to pasta to Florentine steaks! Not over touristy and well worth a visit. We were staying on the Lilliano estate where we were well looked after even at the start of harvesting when life gets busy!

    Castellina in Chianti is a beautiful village. Lovely wine farms to visit. It is a great location for a 30 minute drive into Siena or San Gimignano and lots of other charming Tuscan villages. A great place to relax and enjoy the scenery.

    Castellina is an excellent place to visit. A small but high quality location. Pleasant buildings and a variety of restaurants. All of our shopping needs were satisfied, particularly at the COOP in the main centre.

    The location was perfect!

    The location was perfect! Close to town yet serene and quiet! Beautiful setting with the vineyards. The staff could not be more helpful and welcoming! It was what I picture when I think of an Italian villa and romantic getaway!!!!

    Quiet hill town with lots of amenities.

    Quiet hill town with lots of amenities. Well located to visit other towns if you are willing to drive. Pay VERY close attention to the information sent by the hotel about luggage drop off and pick up. Steep fines for driving into the old town if not done per instructions and timing.

The rooms are spacious and confortable, with ancient decoration that reminds you that you are in the middle of the Tuscany. Staff was friendly and gave enough detailed information. In 5 min by car you can reach the Castellina in Chianti center with good restaurants and some boutiques.
