Pienza is a beautiful village, the Val d'Orcia is breathtaking. We were welcomed by Paola, who is a magnificent ambassador for the property, she really made us feel incredibly welcome. The restaurant was also excellent, we had a fantastic dinner. We came off season, (March) which added to the tranquility. I think you would come here to enjoy a quiet, peaceful retreat, and it is a nice base to explore the Tuscan wine region.

A tiny charming old town with one church, one restaurant and one store. There's even an ATM. A perfect location to explore central Tuscany with endless undulating fields, cypress trees and dirt roads winding among the hills.

This is a small town so a car is necessary to enjoy the area. There is only one restaurant in town but it is very gook. The town is close to other Tuscan towns such as Pienza, Montepulciano and Montalcino so there are lots of options to dine out. You can explore the town itself walking. Just an enjoyable, quiet place to relax.

The service from the second we arrived until we checked out was incredible. Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive staff who really added to the whole experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and the room far exceeded our expectation. We were really impressed by all the extras included in the room and how reasonable wine and meals were considering how great they were. We will definitely return.

The host was friendly and helpful. The house itself is stunning, tastefully decorated and well-equipped. Every time we needed something (like bandaids, insect repellent, sunscreen, extra tea towels, chargers and adaptors etc) we found it. The locals in Castelmuzio were nice and helped us find places when we got a bit lost. One of my favourite places I've been to, it really was special.

The accommodation is authentic and beautiful. If you like modern it wont be for you, but we loved it. So quite and peaceful. Cafe/ restaurant/ village hotel a few strides away from the apartment. You dont need a watch the church bells tell you the hour and then reminds you when its half past the hour. Roberta contacts you and is available on whatsapp.
