The host was great, very friendly, and happy to have our dog. Glad to be offered a cool beer on our arrival. And there was a nice outlook to the back which we didn't expect from its location on the edge of town. We'd happily stay again.

This property is spacious and comfortable. The hosts meet us a property and showed us around. Using Google translate we were able to communicate with hosts. They were very friendly and helpful. The Villa is exactly like the photos on Booking.com. Ample car parking. A car is a must for this property as it’s up a steep hill. Fantastic views of Castelnuovo and surrounding countryside. If I was coming back with family I would definitely use this villa again.

Magical place! I returned this time bringing my partner, who has also fallen in love the Trassilico and community. This time we had dinner, prepares in a rustic and traditiona way, and was very yummy indeed!! We are returning to stay for one night in June. Staying in Trassilico is a recommended tonic which helps in recharging your batteries.

    Castelnouvo is a beautiful town. It has lots of Bars. Restaurants. Gelaterias. In the holiday month of August it usually has entertainment. Plus every Thursday morning has a typical Italian Market. It's a perfect base to explore the Garfagniana region of Tuscany. Absolutely love it. A must see town.

    it's a nice comfortable hotel .The restaurant is good, staff lovely.Breakfast good. rooms clean and a decent size. Not all of them have fridges.Pool quite large. Location: a car is needed! it's a good 25 mins walk to the Station down cut throughs in the busy road, Town is longer and very steep uphill climb on the way back. No other restaurants close by , a small shop 3/4 min walk, supermarket 10 mins.

    Breakfast was fine, a good start to the day ,friendly table service and dining room next to reception is elegant. Breakfast items were sweeter than I have in the UK, but typical in Italy I think. Good view from the room ,nice balcony. Parking was very convenient (once you know how to access). Useful that one of the staff spoke English! Lovely hotel would like to stay again.
