We had a wonderful stay. Our apartment is was located very close to the centre , approximately a 5 minute walk to to Ponte Vecchio . There are a lot of restaurants nearby and parking our car in a nearby garage was not a problem. The staff were very kind and organised it for us. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast every morning and we were extremely pleased with our bedroom, our bed especially our pillow were nice and firm and the shower was very good. The staff are amazing, extremely helpful, friendly and made our stay very special.

    Florence is beautiful! The weather was great! The food was delicious! We did a lot of amazing activities, like climbing to the top of the Duomo! And it was easy to get to the train station to take day trips to other cities. We were surprised at the crowds, since it was considered “ shoulder season”.

    Very lovely city.

    Very lovely city. Be sure to try the porchetta, it was very good for me. Also there are lots of jewelry stores, if you are into that. Don't skip a tour to another cities in Tuscany. We did a day trip to Pisa, San Giminiano and Sienna and it was a blast. The cathedral of Florence I would have just viewed from the outside, don't think the long queue was worth it. We loved more the Sienna cathedral.

    Florence is a beautiful city.

    Florence is a beautiful city. Everything is within a short walk, so walk everywhere and really explore this amazing city. We booked tickets in advance online for Uffizi Galleria and Accademia Gallery and planned our days by visiting things close together. Although the Duomo is free but the queue was huge so we just took pictures outside which is still amazing. Other free activities are Ponte Vecchio and Piazzale Michelangelo. There are lots Piazzas, including Piazza Della Signoria and Piazza del Duomo. Eat in smaller local family run bars and restaurants in side streets, like Botteghina Degli Antellesi and Osteria del Cinghiale Bianco, rather than larger restaurants and bars in the Piazzas. The wild boar ragu with Pappardelle pasta is delicious.

    Florence is a lovely city, walked a lot to see the all the main buildings and statues of historical interest. Absolutely spoilt for places to eat at - good quality food - priced fairly and consistently. Did not bother to que to enter any of the museums - who would wait at least a couple of hours to enter? A turn-off - VERY crowded on a weekend.

    Florence is truly wonderful and there are so many places to visit and things to see and do. Everything is within a 20 minute walk of wherever you are. The queues are very long and even with Skip the Queue tickets there are wait periods of over an hour. The Uffizi Gsllery wait was exceptionally long There are wonderful places to eat and to cater to all tastes and budgets, local wild boar dishes and Pastacherias are very yummy I. Wonderful views of the city from Plaza Michelangelo.

    This is by far the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Italy. The staff were incredibly polite, attentive, and always willing to help — even after I had already checked out. The room was spotless, beautifully renovated, and offered a perfect blend of comfort and style. The location is exceptional, within walking distance of everything Florence has to offer.
