Lovely small town with a relaxed vibe to it (we arrived just as the peak season hoards were leaving). . of restaurants to choose from with a variety of price ranges. Majority offering similar cuisine - pasta, pizza & seafood. The more expensive offered fresh fish of the day & "cordon bleu" style cooking. A few lively bars, that I can imagine being 'very lively' during the peak summer season. A great array of hotels, B&Bs & apartment/rooms/villas Ideally located for Olbia, Porto Cervo & Costa Smerelda as well as Palau & the ferry to La Maddelena. Plenty of excursion options - hiking, cycle (e-bikes & normal), boat hire, sailing & catamaran cruises.
