Lovely small town with a relaxed vibe to it (we arrived just as the peak season hoards were leaving). . of restaurants to choose from with a variety of price ranges. Majority offering similar cuisine - pasta, pizza & seafood. The more expensive offered fresh fish of the day & "cordon bleu" style cooking. A few lively bars, that I can imagine being 'very lively' during the peak summer season. A great array of hotels, B&Bs & apartment/rooms/villas Ideally located for Olbia, Porto Cervo & Costa Smerelda as well as Palau & the ferry to La Maddelena. Plenty of excursion options - hiking, cycle (e-bikes & normal), boat hire, sailing & catamaran cruises. I arrived 2 hours early and asked if we could put our suitcases somewhere so that we could walk through the village. The lovely lady at the reception told us that our room was ready and if we wanted to check in. Every time you order something at the bar or pool you don't have to pay immediately, it is only paid at the end, really easy.
