While we walked a bit around the town, and bought some lovely souvenirs from a local shop, we did not have enough time to see the beach, take a hike, or use the local bus to see other parts of the island. Great little village with lots of delicious restaurants ad shops and galleries. Lots of fruit trees and a really cute beach (Spiaggia dello Scario). The village has a small supermarket, and has very good access to the rest of the island via the bus system, or by hiring a car or scooter at the various hire companies in the village.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
We could have stayed in Malfa for at least a month!
We could have stayed in Malfa for at least a month! It was a quiet, peaceful town, with a small main street with a handful of shops, and maybe three restaurants, and more of a takeout cafe. We had excellent, leisurely meals at two of the restaurants, and really enjoyed the staff at both. We walked down to the beach one day, and loved it, but it was otherwise a lazy few days in a spectacularly beautiful place with very pleasant people. The apartment is simply and beautifully decorated, with everything you need to enjoy your stay. It had a wonderful deck to live both the Inside/outside experience with nice views over the town to the sea. Short, safe walk to the piazza and from there down to the beach. Hosts and management were proactive in proving all information needed for an easy checkin and stay. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the AC is beautiful and the host is so friendly and helpful. The terrace is lovely and so peaceful. It’s a 15 minute walk to one of the pebble beaches and you can see the volcano from there in the distance. The villas are a 3 minute walk from Malfa so it’s so easy to venture out for a drink and a meal. The property in itself is beautiful and spacious.
