We had an absolutely amazing stay! The hostess was so kind and welcoming, really making an nice experience. The location was perfect, the breakfast delicious, and the room very clean and comfortable. I’d love to come back!

Wonderful hotel, very attentive and friendly staff. Comfortable room with airconditioning and a balcony, great shower. Parking on site. Cold but glorious pool. We enjoyed the food very much. We were able to bring our small dog. Laundry service was quick and very good. My family and I loved our stay here and hope to be back.

    A very nice vibrant town with many beautiful sights I partcularly liked the hand sculptures very moving. Great shops and plenty of restuarants although we did eat at the hotel Crystal restuarant,where the food served by there own chef was fantastic. Italian Casalinga very well cooked and served.

    Seems like the place is stuck in the 80s but with 2024 prices. Imposible to find decent food for less than 50 euro a person. service level on the (expensive) beaches stuck somewhere in 1986. Price for an umbrella and 2 beds? 30 euros. Ah you want to use the pool? another 5. And Icould go on. OVerall horrible customer service all around. Ah and no public transport or taxi service worth mentioning.

    The city is awful restaurants are selling the same trash food you can choose if you pay 30€ or 200€ we tried all. Never again. We are sad we have nothing good to say about the small city. The people cold and not friendly at all. Even we were giving so much more money to them than probably the usual tourists.

    There are excellent bicycle paths and it’s pretty flat for riding miles safely. Buy tickets for local bus services at the tabac and validate on bus. There is a coop where you can buy bread, cheese and ham and water for a cheap lunch.

    Its a lovely small town with great restaurants and bars but not noisy or overcrowded when we visited in October. It was still hot enough to swim. We also hired bikes and you can easily cycle for many miles along a cycle path along the coast to Viareggio and beyond

    Located in the middle of Versilia with the bustle of Viareggio and the sophistication of Forte dei Marmi 5km to the south and north MDP has it's own friendly vibe with a lovely stretch of beach (private) and a centre (Tonfano) with plenty of restaurants, gelateria and bars plus shops. Don't miss the Saturday market and visit Capriccio for the best ice cream and Da Carlino for a great meal but you'll need to book ;-)

    The location was very good, and access was easy with good parking. The hotel has good signage and is fairly easy to find along the main boulevard. The staff were all polite and helpful and the beach is right across the street with plenty options for restaurants and other beach clubs. I did like the hotel garden and pool area, which was quiet and pleasant to be in, with plenty seating for customers who may want to relax and enjoy a drink by the poolside.

    We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean, offered a nice view, and the staff were very pleasant. The hotel itself was also well-maintained and clean. However, we were disappointed to find the restaurant was closed during our stay, reportedly due to insufficient customers. As there were no other dining options within easy walking distance, we had to travel about 8 km to find a restaurant for dinner, which was inconvenient.

    It's a small hotel, very well located. You can walk to the beach as well as to the town center. Coffee shops, restaurants and supermarket are also in walking distance. The room was small but very clean, the essentials are there. The bed is comfy and there was no noise from the outside. In such an exclusive place, it is nice to see that there are hotels that do not offer overpriced prices but stick to something more authentic.

    Location was top. Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio are very near. The beach is not even a 5 minute walk so it’s a plus. The hotel does offer parking (but it’s more for smaller cars as the spaces are quite tight). The room we had was good, and the cleaners always did a great job in making up the rooms. The beach setup is actually quite enjoyable. It’s not far from the hotel as well which is a plus!
