Casa Ferri offers the chance to stay in an authentic cave dwelling and explore the incredible Sassi which lies all around you. Our host was incredibly kind and informative. He helped us find a parking place nearby ( we had been worried about arriving by car in Matera but no need) and he gave us a brief history of the area as well as recommendations for restaurants and hotels.
