We were based in Polignano since it’s closer to Alberobello, Ostuni and Locorotondo, which we visited. For my mother, who uses a walker, 3-4 days were just right, but the rest of us could stay and explore Puglia towns for longer. Many boat tour options to explore the caves and enjoy the spectacular coastline. This is a stunningly beautiful place to visit and great location to base yourself at. Polignano a Mare is a must see, and from here you can easily visit other areas. We stayed at the beautiful Santo Stefano Bed n Breakfast in the old town. Breakfast was homemade and delicious, the best coffee I’ve ever tasted. The pool was pristine and blissfully quiet.
