The property is beautifully set in the middle of a natural park, with stunning views of mountains and fields. The farmhouse has a charming rustic feel, complete with its own chapel, yet everything is spotless and the beds are super comfy. The on-site chef prepared the most incredible meals — truly unforgettable! A special shoutout to Dana, whose Aperol Spritzes were fantastic and who was always helpful and welcoming, and to Lucia, the site manager, who made us laugh and feel right at home. Perfect for families too, with a lovely pool and lots of space for kids to run around. Highly recommended!

Vallegrande is a really beautiful and relaxing place to unwind for a few days. It is gorgeous and very peaceful. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. We were made to feel very welcome and relaxed. The swimming pool is a lovely focus to the resort, and the gardens are beautifully landscaped with palm trees and surrounded by a small forrest, nestled within the Madonie Natural Park. We went for a walk one day down to Sant Ambrogio, which is a lovely, very small town on the sea, with maybe 3 restaurants and a small supermarket. The hill is very steep, so if you are walking - it will keep you very fit. If you have a car, it would obviously be a lot easier to travel around the area. Nearby Cefalu is absolutely gorgeous with a busy and very petty beach and lots of interesting shops and restaurants. Would love to visit again. Was a thoroughly restful and enjoyable holiday.

Everything was perfect — starting with the beautiful view from the terrace, the comfort of the apartment, and the incredible host! A big thank you to the host — people like this truly make Sicily special. We received so much helpful information about the local area, including restaurants, attractions, and places to visit. The breakfast was perfect, and since we were traveling with two children, we really appreciated that everyone’s needs were taken care of. It was incredibly sad to leave — it truly felt like home. Perfect location, not that far from Cefalu by car. Apartment with commodities needed to prepare dinner, quick laundry done, super dry by next morning with great Sicilian weather. Breakfast served on a terrace with a marvelous view of the mountains and grapes around you. You can choose the sweet version with croissants and fruits or for people that want to eat something different yummy bread with cheese, tomato and mint served also with portions of fruits from their garden. If I ever come back to Sicily or need to recommend someone's location where to stay this is it!
