Great location (just 9 min away of the train station and bay for the ferry: Piazza della Concordia), 2 blocks away from "pedonale" with shops and places to eat. Clean and well mainteined (every day they cleaned the room). The beds were amazingly comfortable. Easy check in and good communication with the owner, who was always very available to help. They let us leave our bags before the check in hour and the left them in out room. Such a nice detail!

Incredibly central to shops, restaurants and cafes. 300metre walk from the railway, laundromat nearby. Beautifully decorated and new decor, very clean, complimentary water and Prosecco, toothbrush everything you need. Great communication. Breakfast is included and enjoyed next door. Elevator to the 4th floor makes the entire stay effortless and enjoyable. Would recommend this to anyone, absolutely perfect!

    Fantastic base to use when visiting the various towns on the Amulfi Coast (Positano, Amulfi etc) with numerous ferries arriving and departing from the ferry and main harbour (two different harbours in Salerno) throughout the course of the day (in season that is).

    Salerno was a pretty city and was not overrun by tourists.

    Salerno was a pretty city and was not overrun by tourists. It was a city for the inhabitants and it had a good feeling about it. The old market street was lovely to walk along, as was the promenade along the water. The train line allowed for easy connections to Naples, Rome, Paestum and further south. The proximity to so many ferries was good for day trips. There was also the bus stop near the ferries that allowed travel to other parts of Italy.

    I absolutely loved how welcoming the host was — they helped us throughout our stay and even turned into our personal tour guide! They shared so many useful tips that really helped us plan our trip better. The kitchen was so well-equipped, making it super easy to prepare a nice breakfast every morning. The room itself was cute, spacious, and beautifully done. Plus, the location is perfect — easily accessible and very close to the ferry port for Amalfi, Capri, and Positano. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay and warm hospitality!

    Lovely old streets and laneways to wander. Plenty of cafes (and Aquacheta) to experience. Great coffee and food at Filtro - a must find! Plenty of ‘big’ name stores in newer part of Salerno. Easy access to Pompeii by train and the Amalfi coast by ferry.

    Salerno is a port city, medium size city with direct link...

    Salerno is a port city, medium size city with direct link via high speed train to Rome, Florence and other cities in Italy. This city is used as a cruise city port for those who want to explore the Amalfi coast and is much more afordable to stay here and use the ferry or boat tours to explore the region.

    There is an excellent train service to all parts from...

    There is an excellent train service to all parts from Salerno, we went to Naples a couple of times and to Sorrento. We also took the train to Sicily, a really good experience as it was mainly on or near to the coast and there was always something to see. We had planned a couple of other visits but unfortunately we encountered several train strikes!!! Should you visit Salerno then you must see the fabulous cathedral (duomo) crypt, apparently it took 600 years to complete! Although not religious we have visited so many churches etc over the years but this was exceptional. Be aware that the airport only has a few flights each day and closes at 2200. Our late flight was delayed and we were herded outside onto the runway area where it was very windy and chilly to await the flight so the staff could shut the main area down!!!!

    This was an excellent, spacious, well equipped apartment, with a view of Salerno bay, beside the Opera theatre. The apartment had absolutely everything you would need f or a stay in the city. Everything was within a 10 to 15 minute walk. The couple that own this apartment went over and above to make us feel welcome and could not have been kinder or more generous with their hospitality. We would 💯 book this apartment if we ever visit Salerno in the future and would highly recommend to any visitors considering staying here.

    It’s a great house, very spacious and clean. Highly recommended! It’s location is perfect for passing a night at Salerno.
