The accommodation was great! The room was very clean and modern with a comfortable bed! Also the gardens are absolutely lovely, very well maintained with beautiful flowers and amazing views!! The staff was very friendly and helpful and they also upgraded our room to a suite with sauna! The breakfast and the setup for breakfast was excellent!! The parking is very good and secure. If you are there you have to also try their restaurant - the food is excellent!! We wish we could've stayed more! When we will be in the area again we will stay here for sure!! Thank you!!

    We usually stop in Sasso Marconi on our way to the South of Italy from Germany. La Quercia is closed to the motorway, still in a quiet area, on the hills. We dined at Osteria dei Sani in Sasso Marconi, 8 min drive from la Quercia, very good. The property accommodated my request to have a take-away breakfast, since we had to resume our journey early in the morning. I really appreciated it. The room was clean, spacious and fully equipped.

    Sasso Marconi is very small and quiet I didn't have time to...

    Sasso Marconi is very small and quiet I didn't have time to fully explore but getting around on foot or by car is easy enough. Getting in and out from other towns is a different story, if you don't use Italian Telepass you can only exit from the autostrada at the south of the city and cannot enter the autostrada at all. If you're heading north, look forward to at least an hour of heavy traffic on the strada statale and Bologna's ring road before getting away.

    We enjoyed a super nice show for free at the main hall and kids were amazed. This was well published and they also had a workshop which was unfortunately sold out, but as a parent this is anyway a positive sign.

    A beautiful ducal palace with special history.

    A beautiful ducal palace with special history. There is a good cafe in the grounds, a great restaurant, a wide selection of local wines and foods. There are interesting country walks, our dog loved it. The staff are kind and interested in the welfare of guests. The restaurant service was first class, not intrusive but we did not have to wait long for service. Quality of the food was excellent, the best steak and lamb that we have had in over twenty years of visiting Italy. We will return next time we drive through the area.

    Excellently, centrally located, this well-priced hotel is neat and friendly, with plain but clean and comfortable rooms and quite a decent-sized bathroom. Additionally the hotel has an excellent restaurant and pizzeria downstairs. Breakfasts are as you'd expect in Italy, excellent coffee, fruit juice and an assortment of small pastries.

    nice country house ,comfortable, simply but well decorated interiors. easy access to A1 motorway and also to central Bologna which I have reached during peak hours through a beautiful hillside road in less than half an hour avoiding traffic congestion. god breakfast with homemade cakes. excellent value for money.
