When you imagine that you travel to a friends who lives at the village in Europe, what would you expect? Probably village life, which is different than the one in the city. What would you expect when you travel to desert? Probably much less confortable place than you can find here at MalakoRum. Very confortable rooms, european type of toilet, hot shower (we vere there just at the end of calendar year - so in winter time). Wow and such delicious dinner freshly cooked by the hosts. The stay for us was like visiting friends who moved to desert to farm there. So we expected animals around, and we loved it. When you see beduins next the desert streets they have also animals around. So the experience from the desert life was way more much authentic then the games played to tourist elsevere. We expected and loved that touch of authenticity. Jo was very kind all the time to explain all the things we were curious about - desert life,geology, history etc. and she turn to be very rich well of knowledge. She offered us a hiking tour in the mountains around and it was unexpectedly experience with a little climbing at the top of near hill top with wonderful view. Jafar may seem to be harsh and bitter, as the desert fruit are, on the first glance. But when you let to know him a little bit more you will find the cool and broad hearted man you can love. We had four-wheeler car so we wanted to travel more in desert, but without any experience of desert ride. Jo and Jafar helped us to plan our little desert trip, just for the time we had. That trip was also wonderful experience which we would have not undergo without the help of our "desert" friends. Thank you for encouraging and helping.

The host and the services. The rooms are very clean and maintained very well. The staff are very friendly and provide everything you request reasonably. At a remote location, the services and safety was exceptional. We stayed in the bubble room and the experience was very good.

The stay was wonderful, everything was beautiful and positive. It was an experience worth the effort. The food was delicious and beautiful, the activities were enjoyable, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the respect at the reception was amazing. I recommend this location.

The bubble tents are spacious, the location is special, with a beautiful view of the desert. The location can be reached by car and for us this was a great advantage because we had a rented car 4x4. Friendly staff, good food, organized activities and good value for money. The location is incredibly beautiful, you can see the desert without other camps around. The bed is very comfortable and the facilities were good, the panoramic view dome was a great experience. Even though it is in the desert, this camp offers you the comfort of a hotel: private toilet, hot water (small shower cabin, but ok), towels and bathrobes. The air conditioning also helps with heating during the night. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had the experience we were looking for.

The experience at the Wadi Rum Bubble Luxotel is just amazing. I would recommend to everyone to live this experience: watching the stars from your bed is priceless. Also the staff was great and kind, the food delicious. 10/10

I had a wonderful stay here. The camp is relatively new, small and a bit off the beaten path in the desert. I was taken to the camp by jeep and felt comfortable and warmly welcomed from the first moment. The room was clean and well equipped, with a private shower and AC/heater, and wonderful quiet at night. There is a larger room where breakfast, lunch and dinner was served and a smaller tent where you can warm up by the fire in the colder evenings and have always a fresh tea. At night the sky was just impressive and breathtaking and in the morning I could watch the sunrise from my room. I loved every minute and would recommend the camp to anyone looking for a quiet and luxurious stay in the desert.

Hasan was a lovely host. Dinner was excellent. But good to know what things will cost in addition to the room. 40jod for dinner and breakfast (for 2), 4wd tour was 70. We liked there was no phone reception or wifi.

I had an amazing solo stay at Ayla Rum Luxury Camp. The luxury tent was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything I needed. Yahia, the manager, was extremely welcoming and made sure I had a great experience. Big thanks to him for his kindness and hospitality!
