I would come here again just to see her. The guesthouse is very comfortable, and you can choose to stay in either an old-style Japanese house or a modern house. Shiori-san will always make sure you're happy and plans amazing activities with the other guests staying at the guesthouse. This way, you experience Japanese culture in a unique way. Remote location, great to watch the sky, listen to the insects, very clean and very modern, probably best in our 3 weeks visit to Japan. Loved it there. The hosts were extremely polite and friendly! Would come back without a doubt

Understated design elegance of the rooms; helpful staff and an amazing dinner/breakfast - we did splurge on the room and the dinner options and had the room with the hot tub/bath on the deck - it was lovely! Loved listening to the pounding surf.

Everywhere was very well kept and clean esp the room. Tatami area in the room was brilliant, it was dust free. The staff were amazing and they were very friendly and helpful, they also prepared a birthday card for hubby’s bday. Breakfast was sumptuous with plenty of choices. Onsen was a big bonus esp the outdoor onsen. Access was mainly by car but we chose to stay outside the city so this doesn’t affect us. Carpark was huge and was free to use for those who board. I would love to come again.

This is a beautiful hotel 1.3km from the airport subway, I don't mind a walk, so I found it really convenient to take day trips. Staff speak Japanese only, but google translate makes communication easier and they were very helpful. The larder filled with snacks and drinks was great. The bathing area in the room I had was bigger than a lot of the rooms I have stayed in Japan. Highly recommend if you don't need to be in middle of fukuoka.
