Excellent room, even more spacious and beautiful than in the pictures. Very well equipped, and there's a huge supermarket next door which is very convenient. There were even games and coloring books which the kids appreciated. We had a great stay!

Everything was clean as guests have to leave their shoes in lockers beside the entrance of the hotel. There is an onsen at the top level and even free ice cream for guests. Laundry wash is heavy duty and frer and the dryer only cost ¥300. Staff was always polite and greeted us. It is fairly near to the Matsumoto train station and bus terminal. This made it convenient for us to travel around.

Takai the owner was sooooo helpful, it made all the difference to my stay in Matsumoto. I loved the book he made describing the different restaurants and what their specialities were. So much love and hard work have gone into making this place special. Takai was patient and answered all of my questions and went out of his way to help me. I am very grateful for his kindness and consideration. Lots of eating and drinking places are only a few minutes away as is the castle. It's also only about 15 minutes walk from the station so even with a suitcase I could walk here.

Great location, short walk from the train station and plenty of food and shops around. Rooms were big for Japanese standards - we had 3 in one room and had plenty of space to lay out our suitcases and shopping. Everything was clean, tidy, and comfortable.

This place is situated very near the JR station, and I think they considered the feedback of previous travellers because there are ample signage to lead the way. The staff are exceptionally friendly and courteous, and there are a lot of amenities in the women’s only side (face serums, combs, razors etc). There is also a wide variety of free beverage packets in the main lounging area, and full collections of popular manga series (although in Japanese). Honestly I didn’t have anything I disliked about this hotel!
