I was not expecting such a beautiful room for the price we paid and with such peace and privacy including our own hot spring bath. We would have happily stayed a week to explore the Kirishima area and use the hot spring facilities at the hotel if we had the time. The views from the hotel were just breath taking and its website photos do not do it justice. Staff very welcoming on arrival. Didn’t get the chance to use other facilities as only overnight stay but noted lots of little free treats such as noodles and icecream at different times of the day. Plenty of Free onsite parking.

We stayed in the new expansion building with private onsen on the balcony. The room was clean, cozy and new. Private onsen with the mountain view was such a treat. It’s in a nice and quiet location. The owner was very kind and friendly. He made sure we were safe and had everything we needed when the worst storm hit Kirishima. Highly recommend this place if you are visiting the area or looking for a relaxing base for visiting the national park and Kagoshima.

This is a dream place! The house is newly renovated and refurbished with impeccable taste. There are two traditional rooms available, both spacious, clean and very quiet. The onsen water is available at the house and there’s a small bath outside to relax! The house is so clean and organised, and Yuki the host is just amazing. He provides you with anything you need, including laundry and towels. We spent two wonderful days there and felt fully recharged. Unfortunately the weather was really bad but Yuki recommended alternative places to visit! There are many beautiful onsen as well as izakayas on a walking distance! We will definitely go back to enjoy this unique environment once again!
