Never had such a great experience with the staff! They helped us with everything we needed and they were so kind and thoughtful. The lodge was beautiful, nice views and they even provided board games!

This is my second review for Ishiuchi ski center. The first stay was 1-3 Feb 2024. After 3 nights I have grown to like the hotel even more, getting into routine, having a bath at 7 AM to be ready for breakfast at 7:30. And prepare for the slope. From the hotel there are several ways to get to the top of Sunrise Express. And from there the mountain is your. The easier one is to ski down about 50m to the first lift on the left and it will take you up to the top. Or ski down about 2 KM to the base center. There are 3 courses to go all the way down: Dynamic course, sportsman course and Devil course, I never took this one, un-groom, vertical drop. The dynamic course is a dark green, enough challenge for intermediate, speed, manageable fear. The skiers. All the guess is skier. Sometime there are young group belong to ski club and it is a pleasure to watch them calming gravity with beauty of their parallel turn. Sometimes there are a large group of international students in a short one night stay. It is very popular with family with young children. Of course there are individual like me who is happy to involve with a few cad game of UNO or just seat back sampling long list of Niigata sake watching night skier dancing the high beam golden lighting and listening Nina Simone in the back ground music.

Ms Li was super hospitable! We soon realized that we came from sunny Singapore and the family chatted comfortably. The place is very clean and amenities well planned and detailed. It was snowing heavily and the house had more than adequate heaters to keep us warm and comfy. Photos shown and description are exactly what you will get.

I arrived at the closest station at around 8pm and it got so dark. Usually I would take care of myself, but I saw the photo list poster of the criminals at the station and there was just no one on the street. I texted to the owner that I was scared walking to the hotel, then the owner drove to pick me up immediately. I felt very thankful for that. The hotel was comfortable, clean and with a mountain View. There was also an onsen in the shower room. Free tea and coffee in the large dining room, which also have a pretty view. I enjoyed my stay very much.

This accomodation was “on my route” and available ! Those were the two factors that decided my choosing it. I simply needed a bed for the night. I wasn’t overwhelmed when I saw the building exterior, but that changed as soon as I entered. The owner has done a magnificent job with the interior, the rooms, and the furniture and fixtures, it’s a little Palace. I was comfortable in this quiet neighbourhood on the edge of town, and the nearby safe parking for my car was reassuring. Thank you for a delightful and comfortable stay.

    Homey Budget Friendly hotel close to slopes . Friendly staff and very accommodating. Appreciated the very early check in ! Loved the Sri Lankan Curry served over dinner. Meals are reasonably priced. Shared toilets , glad we went during a low period , i could imagine foot traffic to the shared bath and toilets if the place is full. Staff helped us clear the snow on our car. Shared bath is clean and adequate. Cozy dining area with fireplace.

    Belle Vue Nishiura hotel is an amazing place to stay for our ski in ski out activity. Bedroom is spacious and very comfortable. We had delicious western breakfast. I had the best stay thankfully to Satoshi san, he is the owner and he will make sure that you are very comfortable and very accommodating. We were absolutely happy with our holiday spent at this hotel. Would I recommend this hotel? A million percent YES!!!

    The hotel was very responsive and helpful to my queries after my booking. They have free shuttle to and fro the hotel, which makes life so much easy 😄 The hotel is small but cosy. The staff on site was also helpful, friendly and tried their best to communicate with us in English.

    Front hotel is stairs need carry luggage to first floor then will have lift. Every floor got microwave and water filter. Next building hot bath is very good, second floor got provide voucher to get the cheap price.
