Great location: 10 minutes to the city center and around 25 min walking from the train station. Everything in the hotel is very new! I also loved the welcoming reception team. Moreover, in the main lobby you can get free tea or coffee.

Very nice hotel in central Kyoto. The hotel is not far from the tube station. 10 minutes by train to go to the main train station in Kyoto. The room is very clean and the bed is super comfy. Breakfast is really good with many products to choose from, for all tastes. The price is quite reasonable considering the high standard of the hotel. Definitely recommend it for a nice stay in Kyoto.

Everything was exceptional! Facilities and rooms were new, featuring modern design and high quality materials. The bed was comfortable and cleaning service exceptional. The restaurant and bar area is cosy and perfect for a meal/drink after sightseeing! Staff did a great job, always attending to requests with kindness and professionalism! The hotel is located near Kyoto station (access to Shinkansen rapid service and Osaka airport via Haruka Express JR train). It is also located within a comfortable walking distance to Kyoto downtown area and Gion.

Loved the amazing friendly and helpful  staff, who gave us good advice and discussions. Great location in central Gion in a quiet street but walking distance to almost anything.  Great variety and range of eating places and the river close by and of course as many temples as you need with cool peaceful gardens as well as museums. Nishiki Market is a short bus ride or interesting 20min walk.  The room was beautiful and fully equipped incl a small kitchenette, electric blackout curtains and lots of tech Breakfasts were copious and varied to suit most tastes, best scrambled egss in Japan. Amazingly bestiful designer chairs in a little sitting area and free laundry room was an unexpected bonus!

The facilities are simple and easy to use. Because there are few guest rooms, movement in hall is smooth. The location is very good right in front of Minami Kannonyama of the Gion Festival. The lounge had iced tea, apple juice and snacks during tea time, and beer and alcoholic drinks during bar time, which was comfortable.

    The owners were very friendly and helpful.

    The owners were very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean! The only confusion was that the description on Booking.com states that breakfast is available, it doesn’t say that you pay extra for it. I also paid for towels. If I understand correctly the coat is then deducted from the room fee but it really wasn’t clear.
