It was spacious, clean, well-equipped, comfortable and excellent value for money. The owner was very welcoming, hospitable and kind. It was great to have our own onsen which looked out to the unit's small Japanese garden. We slept on the futon section of the property and we had a good night's sleep. There was an option to sleep on a double bed in the other section of the property. We had a rental car and we had no problem getting to the property by typing in the phone number into the navigation system. We had a small car and the parking space was ok. We enjoyed our lovely stay there and would have loved to stay longer!

We loved our stay, the room was outstanding with an amazing view. The Chef was from a different planet, both the breakfast and dinner were exceptional and exceeded all expectations, a gem! Very very very convenient location, just few steps a way from yufuin bus terminal. Next to the hotel is Unagi rice restaurant. Hotel equipped with private onsen and sauna, though small but just nice, no complaint. Hotel has in house cafe too. Room is super spacious and with superb nice vibe. Love it love it love it ! Will stay here again if return to Yufuin next time.

Huge room. Beautiful decor. The atmosphere. It's situated in the forest so it's very peaceful and quiet. Extremely yummy food. You will get to use the private bath for free per day of your stay. Beautiful selection of yutaka also free to choose. Staffs are all very friendly and can speak English fairly well.

The location is very good, just next to the train station, and within walking distance to grocery, restaurants and the shopping street. The room is cozy and clean. Staff is very prompt in helping when we call, even during New Year Day.

We had a room in the annex with privat onsen. The room was well equipped and for two people very spacious. The privat onsen was just perfect after a day of exploring the region or for a relaxing dip before breakfast. Btw, be sure to add the delicious japanese style breakfast when you arrive! For 1200 yen per person and night this is an absolute bargain! Staff was so nice, we had an amazing stay. It's a traditional japanese inn, don't expect a 5* hotel here!
