We stayed because it's close to Sagano Romantic train station which we do the ride and some travel in Kyoto then took the train back to station and got the car drive to the hotel. So the location for the plan is really good. Staff is really good and helpful. The young lady at the counter can speak English very well. Building and all facilities are new and great. Breakfast is simple yet excellent. Also there's plenty of parking lot which charge you just little bit extra which is totally fine.

Our entire stay was beautiful from beginning to end. My partner and I travelled across Japan for around two weeks, and this might have been our favourite place to stay. The location, the staff, the room and the meals were exceptional. My favourite part were the facilities and the kindness of the staff. I have never felt so welcome as a customer and as a guest! Every course of our evening meal was visually stunning and delicious!

Exceptionally friendly, food outstanding and room utterly clean. They were so happy and excited about my 15month old baby and made sure he was comfortable as well. Ryokan and Onsen experience was one of a kind. I wish I could have booked more than one night.

Super clean and spacious. The host are very nice and thoughtful young couple. I needed a pet friendly for a reason. They even prepared and provide a pet feeding bowl and pet wipe etc to care my dear pug. I will recommend this place to anyone. The accomodation is located 15-20 minutes walk from Kameoka station which is probably about 20 min from Kyoto. Also communication is great. They will responds very quickly.

I left my passport, money and my wives jewellery by mistake in the safe and we checked out.The staff delivered it to the station which was exceptional and made our life much easier. Wonderful traditional hotel – highly recommended! The hotel was very beautiful and spotlessly clean, with a charming traditional style. We stayed in room 12 on the first floor, which had its own private garden and a 40°C hot bath just for us, such a special experience! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They even drove us to the next JR station when we checked out, which was a lovely gesture. I can highly recommend this hotel to everyone, it’s something you really have to experience!
