We stayed here on 14082024, didn't need air-conditioner as they said it was cool enough to stay even in the middle of summer. We could use the outdoor hot spring. It was very delightful.

The place is run by a lovely lady, so helpful, kind and lovely. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. The room was absolutely phenomenal, real Japanese style regimen with such comfortables mattresses. The place has an in house restaurant. Very good food at affordable prices, breakfast was also extremely tasty, probably the best Japanese breakfast we had at any hotel. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

This hotel is a true gem: lovely staff, great onsen, super comfy room, nice food and perfect location. Staff helped us book the bus to Norikura-dake (that stops in front of the hotel) and arranged lovely food when we arrrived late. Thank you!

Our stay at Raicho was amazing! The receptionist was absolutely lovely and very helpful. The place is beautiful, always tidy, we loved the outside onsen and the fire place as well as the cozy bed. We didn't have a car, there are only a few busses per day, but going around is totally doable with a bit of organisation. And anyways there are many beautiful hikes starting from Raicho. Thank you so much for the stay!

Hotel staffs were really nice and helpful, the hotel was very clean and nice, and the onsen was amazing! We had our own private onsen in our room but we also tried the private outdoor as well and both were amazing. Breakfast and dinner were amazing as well. We love the free coffee, beer, tofu and ice creams. Would totally visit again!

The place was all class. The architectural beauty was unmatched by any hotel I stayed at in Japan. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They did not always get it right but by golly, they got everything right all in all. The food was exemplary and the onsen was good. I plan to go back.
