I was only about 2 km from the Siem Reap airport. A you lady greeted us at the gate as we arrived in a tuk-tuk right from the airport and guided us right to our room. We had nice Cambodian breakfast at 5:30 the next morning. The staff arranged for a tuk-tuk to give us a brief tour of the city then too us to the central market.

You get a real taste of the Cambodian countryside and a Cambodian family life, staying at Phonluer homestay, with a beautifull scenery next to the ricefields. Monyarch was happy to tell me about the everyday life and culture of the Cambodians. He took me by car to different locations Kulen Mountains, The Angkor Wat and other tempels, The floating village, mine museum, killing fields museum, local market, pagoda, village and farmlands etc. He can help you organize a plan that suits your interests and take you there. I got to experienced a lot in just a fiew days. He also cook excellent food! I'm really happy I chose to stay there for my first trip to Asia and Cambodia. I felt safe, well taken care of. I stayed 4 nights.

I could not recommend The Jungle enough! I am a 22 year old girl travelling by myself and for the whole duration of my stay (2 days) I was made to feel very welcome and safe. To begin, I was met on arrival with a cold towel, fresh fruit and a local drink which, in the Cambodian heat, was very welcomed. I was then led to my room which was big, comfortable and clean with my own private balcony over looking the pool area. The Jungle 'theme' was what made it for me. Down to the interior design of the room, this place really lived up to its name with a special mention going to the pool and restaurant area which really made me feel like I was actually in a jungle. Considering how central it is (literally a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of Siem Reap) and being only 20 minutes away from Angkor Wat, this place was so tranquil and the perfect location for people wanting a relaxing vacation as well as those wanting to experience more of the nightlife. I would like to give Mr Chea (one of their drivers) a special mention for making my tour of Angkor Wat and the other temples so easy and for paying attention to the finer details of the trip. For example, as the tour meant visiting 4+ temples in the space of 4-5 hours, Mr Chea was always waiting for me once I exited the temples, told me to take my time and was very clear with his instructions. More importantly, after I returned from every temple, he met me with a cold towel and cold bottle of water. I cannot stress enough how much this helped me given how it was 34 degrees and I was spending 90% of my time walking around the temples in the sun and sweating beyond compare. Once I returned from the tour to the hotel, even though I had already checked out, the hotel gave me another cold towel and allowed me to shower and freshen up before heading to the airport for my flight home. It is these details that separate this hotel from others and what made my stay with them so memorable! I will definitely be back!

My recent stay at this hotel was fantastic! It truly deserves the title of the Best Hotel in town. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, contributing to a very comfortable atmosphere. The pool was large and well-maintained, perfect for a refreshing dip. Each morning, I enjoyed the Best Breakfast with a wonderful selection that catered to all tastes. The amazing staff and management were incredibly welcoming and made my stay even more enjoyable. I can't wait to return!

From the moment we checked in, the hotel left a great impression upon arrival - we were warmly welcomed by excellent staff, whom we turned to several times during our stay, when we needed to buy tickets to another city, reserve places for events in Siem Reap, book a massage or just get information. The room was big, there were three of us and there was enough space for everyone. The bathroom had both a shower and a bath, and another shower was on the balcony, which is really convenient when traveling with more than two people. The beds was very comfortable. I can separately mention the restaurant and the excellent staff, the menu offers both vegetarian and vegan dishes, which was important to us. Another advantage is that the hotel is located in a quiet area, but you can reach the main Pub Street in 15 minutes on foot or couple minutes with tuk tuk, and the hotel's tuk tuk takes you to Pub Street for free :) .
