We had a great stay here! The hotel was very clean, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff was absolutely wonderful – they even drove us to the train station when we checked out. There were free bananas, tea and coffee available, which was a nice touch. Overall, great value for money.

Reserved a night there because we had to leave for Luangprabang the next morning. We really want stay longer at a very good hotel but no time. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and tasty. Hotel staff was helpful and he helped us to book train ticket with fare price.

We are in our mid-fifties.

We are in our mid-fifties. You hear the horror stories of drunk twenty-something backpackers in Vang Vieng, but what we found was all ages having a good time enjoying all the activities this fun little town has to offer. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Lively centre with good range of bars and cafes.

Lively centre with good range of bars and cafes. Bit run down in places and lots of dust from traffic and building work on dry days . Becoming very touristy and increasing numbers of large groups of Chinese tourists due to direct train link. Still an interesting place.

The place is gold, scenery awesome and inspiring.

The place is gold, scenery awesome and inspiring. Hot air ballon a must, climb to The view, tough but your reward is at the top, breathless. Make sure you get pic on bike. Lots of other stuff to do, give yourself at last 3 full days to take it in. This place you will remember long after you have left.

I love the sceneries, the loas people are very friendly, nice food. The setback is that there are many potholes along the road from Vientiane to Vang Vieng. I wish the government could improve on the infrastructure.

Visiting one or two lagoons is definitely worth it.

Visiting one or two lagoons is definitely worth it. Also, I recommend a trek to a viewing point. We went to the ‘airplane’ viewing area. Quite a strenuous climb but you’ll be rewarded at the top. We also did a hot air balloon flight. Well worth it.

There is a great variety of experiences on offer which for us as an older group included canoeing, swimming at blue lagoons 3 and 4, enjoying the restaurants in the town particularly Happy Mango, walking up Nam Xay Viewpoint, tubing and paramotoring. Be aware that in March when we visited that there is a lot of smoke in the air which obscures the view of the beautiful karst countryside.

Dok Champa hotels at great prices The rooms are very clean and clean. The bathroom is also huge and all conditions are working well for the new high pressure water hotel built in 2023. The location is a 3-5 minute walk from the Vang Vieng main street. The staff are wonderful, knowledgeable, accommodating and always ready to give you the best guide to your visit to Vang Vieng. Breakfast is included in the room price. You can book ticket and the scooter at the hotel. If you want to stay in Vang Vieng, I recommend Dokchampa.

6/10/2023 Air C. HOT SHOWER FRIDGE. Bed and pillows were the best i have tried here. Good buffet breakfast. Good Wifi. Spacious and clean room. Good localized, 10min from night market, and aroud there are restaurants. Swimming pool was nice and fresh but is share with other hotels. Lundry service in front for 15.000/kg. The prices of BUS from hotel to SOUTH LAOS are cheaper than in others. (Unlucky we didn't take with them). Very good Quality/price i payed.

This place is a newly opened gem in Vang Vieng! Beautiful Pool Villas right on the river with an incredible mountain view. From start to finish the experience was amazing, you can tell that they understand quality, because this is not your usual Laos standard. Everything was done correctly, from mattresses, linen, to the layout of the villa and pool overlooking the river and mountains. A perfect place for couples or families! It was truly a relaxing getaway

Incredible place - the best spot in Vang Vieng by far. Perfect location on the river for sunsets. The rooms are beautiful with balconies out to the river, great pool, the restaurant is so delicious and the staff were beyond friendly and helpful in everything like booking our train tickets. Cannot recommended this spot enough, a highlight of our trip to Laos.
