I liked many things about Nuga Retreat. First of all, the beautiful, natural surroundings with mountain views created a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, providing convenience, and the outdoor pool was a great place to unwind. I also really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who truly made an effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

Our stay was truly out of this world! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning location—right in the heart of a lush tea estate, with breathtaking views in every direction. The serenity and beauty of the surroundings made it feel like a dream. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile which especially important if you are traveling with small kids . The food was another highlight: delicious, authentic, and beautifully presented at every meal. Plus we enjoyed amazing and ad hoc dinner set up to celebrate birthday. Room was lovely - stylish & very comfortable. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with top-notch service, mouthwatering cuisine, and a setting that feels like it’s straight out of a postcard, this is the place. We can't wait to return! The house was beautiful located right within the hills with a stunning view. The room was spotless and beautifully presented. The shower and bathroom facilities were also great. It looks just like the photos. We had a three course dinner at the property with a beer each costing 9,900 rupees total it was amazing (see photos). All in all I would recommend this to anyone and would defiantly go back!

We stayed 1 night (2 adults + 1 child) and we regret we didn't stay longer. Cottage San Francesco exceeded our expectations. Everything was super well organized from check-in to check out, a big "plus"! Staff really friendly and helpful. They gave us nice dinner recommendations in the city and arranged a tuktuk for us. Room was big, clean, quiet and with a wonderful view on the tea fields and mountains. Bed was super comfortable. Beautiful breakfast and tasty. We saw that some previous comments were negative about the location and the access, but for us, location was amazing, with stunning views. For the access, even a small car can access easily without issues.
