One of the best stays of our 2 month trip in Sri Lanka! Best value for money. The room was spacious and clean, great shower with hot water, and breakfast could be enjoyed on the little veranda every morning. The bed was sooooo comfortable!! Location is a bit out of town which for us was ideal, since we enjoy going on walks and exploring our surroundings. The hosts were incredibly nice and attentive, and helped us to rent a scooter, and took us in and out of town when we needed. Sigiriya was just a short ~30min scooter ride away, Dambulla cave temple is just around the corner. For us this was the perfect end to our trip in Sri Lanka, thank you!!

We stayed two nights in there,it was amazing ..we had warmly well come with fresh sour sop juice.every breakfast had lokal curry with some lokal varieties also porridge. They arrange sunrise tour and elephant safari in minneriya national park.sorround sight seen can be cover from this place with sort distanced. The owner’s family truly makes you feel right at home. They are incredibly kind and welcoming, especially the owner’s mother, who goes above and beyond to make guests comfortable. She prepares a generous breakfast that is so filling you won’t need lunch. The property is very new and spotlessly clean. We arrived quite late, yet they kindly helped us arrange dinner to be delivered to the guest house. They were always attentive and ready to assist us whenever needed. As a lovely and thoughtful gesture, they even brought us a cake on the 1st of January to celebrate the New Year. Our stay was truly memorable, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our time there.

The room was large, clean, and comfortable. It had strong water pressure with hot water, and great air-con. It says ‘Eric~South Korea’ I guess because I’m here now. I’m from California and I’ve traveled 126 countries. I was very sick when I arrived at the hotel. I slept long time. When I woke up, I came out and the first thing they did was offer to bring breakfast at 11:30am on several plates. That never happened to me in Cal., any other state in my country, and no other time in these other countries, except this place. When was the last time you were offered the complimentary breakfast at 11:30am?!

One of the best stays of our 2 month trip in Sri Lanka! Best value for money. We chose not to climb Sigiriya (having just recovered from Adam's Peak!) but instead chose the much shorter Pidurangala which afforded a fabulous view of Sigiriya. Highly recommended. A visit to the Bawa hotel, Heritance Kandalama, is well worth it as an insight into the brilliant architectural mind of Geoffrey Bawa.

Dambulla is an excellent base for exploring Kandy,...

Dambulla is an excellent base for exploring Kandy, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya. We stayed there for 4 Nights and could cover the heritage sites easily. Dambulla Caves are a must-see and so is Sigiriya (just 16 Kms. away). Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa are around an hours drive but Dambulla is much well-connected and less touristy.

I loved everything they have amazing vibe, nothing was to much trouble . All staff kind and helpful. Dambulla is quiet but has local shops, cafes Pizza Hut, great small restaurant a few miles from Evergreen serving very good food. It's run by the people who run Evergreen. So recommended by me.. Anything you want to do or go and see will be arranged for you Tuk Tuk guy is a staff member . If you need car/driver it will be arranged.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 days, exploring the area around Dambulla. Beautiful, very clean and well maintained area, clean air conditioned room. Very attentive and friendly host, his wife cooked delicious breakfasts and dinners every day. The house is off the main road, but we were in a car and saw this as an advantage as it was very quiet and peaceful all around. Would recommend!!!

My second visit to this comfortable small hotel located closer to Dambulla center. As always staff members reached out to me as usual in advance and got them selves prepared for the late night arrival. I reached there around 0100 hrs and didnt have any places to dine, However manager was kind enough to arrange a sandwich for me even though the kitchen was closed.
