We were excited with the view of the mountains from the resort. The family owned place is run by a wonderful couple. Super friendly and kind hearted. I would recommend everyone to try the place. Definitely value for money. Would visit again if I am there in the future♥️

So this place has the best view you can imagine. Its just stunning when you wake up and have this view. Also they offer you a great tuk tuk driver if you want to go to lipton seat to a fair price! Just a top place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was the ideal place to relax and recharge after the buzz of Arugam Bay, and a great base for a day trip to explore Ella. The place was spotlessly clean and super comfortable – we felt right at home. The hosts were so kind and helpful, offering tuk tuk services and even giving us clear pricing for transport andl tours. They also asked us each evening what we’d like for breakfast – such a lovely touch – and it was always fresh and delicious. The facilities were great, the vibe was peaceful, and we couldn’t fault a thing. Highly recommend if you want something welcoming, clean, and well-run!

If you want to enjoy the waterfall early in the morning and be alone during two hours before other tourist! Don't hesitate, choose this homestay, Upali the owner will be helpful. His wife is an excellent cooker and the room with the terrace is perfect to eat and have a direct view to the waterfall. Take this time and this homestay and enjoy it.

The place is exceptional in every aspect, hospitality, cleanliness, facilities, helpfulness, breakfasts, room, are alll excellent and the view from the balcony, dining room and our bedroom was amazing. We also got lots of useful tips regarding travel, where to eat in town and what local buses to catch to visit neighbouring locations from the incredibly friendly family. I cant recommend this accommodation highly enough. The best place we have stayed at in Sri Lanka.

My stay at Living Heritage Koslanda was an experience that I can only describe as mesmerizing. This hotel is a sanctuary of tranquility and luxury. The accommodations were a perfect retreat. Waking up to the sound of nature and the breathtaking views of the surrounding forest was a daily delight. Dining at the hotel was another highlight, with dishes that offered a taste of the local cuisine. The unique experiences offered, such as guided nature walks, a visit to the nearby waterfall, and the opportunity to engage with the local community, enriched my stay with unforgettable memories.
