Everything was fantastic! The hotel hosts had to give our room away to other guests and were so kind to find another lovely room for us for an even better price. The rooms are very beautiful and have everything you may need during your stay, including a hairdryer, a kettle, complimentary water bottles, coffee and tea etc. Also, the shower has nice pressure and warm water, which is often not the case in Sri Lanka from my experience. Their breakfast is very cheap, delicious and offers a nice variety of local ingredients. The hosts are also very friendly and happy to help you with anything you may need. Definitely would stay here again. :)

Delightful place surrounded by nature, family-run, managed by a very kind lady 🌸The host is always available to recommend activities nearby and to provide transportation services at honest prices 🛺Very clean rooms. The view from the room is super beautiful, the vocation is a little bit outside of the city Center what makes it really calm and natural. When I sat on the terrace I saw monkeys and palm trees. The best part of this place is the host family who treated me super kindly and made me part of the family for the time I stayed at their place. The owner of the property took me to a lot of hidden places and when I got hungry he dropped me at a really nice restaurant. I am really grateful I got to know them!

This hotel is a kind of little jewel in the centre of Anuradhapura where you feel very welcomed and at home. The manager Nilusha and his staff are all very kind, attentive and ready to satisfy your requests and to give you precious advices to visit the surroundings, arranging also transfers and drivers for you. They all speak a very good English which is not easy to find in this area. The rooms are very clean and well equipped with all you that you can need, kettle included, free bottles of water and welcome fruits. The inside restaurant offers very good breakfasts as well as dinners for a very good price. Laundry service is available if needed. The location is very quiet and there’s also a guardian who checks at the entrance so you also feel very safe. Finally they have a very nice garden that they showed us where they directly take lots of different kind of typical fruits.

Subaseth Villa is amazing, deserving a top score of 10/10! This was my second visit after two years, and everything felt just as welcoming, clean, and peaceful as before, maybe even better. Last time, I missed out on experiencing village life, but this time I made sure to explore by asking for a bike. The staff went out of their way to get me one and set up a great bike tour, suggesting cool spots like the big tanks you see around here. It was a highlight of my trip! The local food here is yummy, and they also have different kinds of food if you want to try something new. The location is perfect, close to Wilpattu National Park and the ancient city of Anuradhapura, so you don't have to switch hotels to see both places. For someone like me who's used to city life, it's the best place to stay because it's like a mix of luxury and nature. Whenever I'm in this area, Subaseth Villa is where I'll be, and I recommend it to everyone!
