We stayed 6 nights at this lovely hotel. There are only 6 rooms so it’s very peaceful. We had a room on the first floor with fabulous sea and beach views. All of the rooms have these views. The sunsets are amazing! The rooms, bathrooms and balconies are extremely spacious and very comfortable as well as spotlessly clean. The owner is Austrian which may account for the very high standards of fittings and no decor. The pool and gardens are lovely with plenty of du beds. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly and efficient. It’s not it the town center but there are several beach restaurants within easy walking distance and it’s very easy and cheap to order a Tuk-Tuk via Uber, costing about €1,50 each way, to the town center. We very much recommend enjoyed our stay here and are quite certain that it is one of the nicest hotels in this area.

Beautiful building and surroundings. Very quiet. 5 min with the tuktuk to the center or a nice 30 min walk (when the Sun is not too strong). Very nice hosts. Excellent food.

It was an absolute wonderful stay in your house. The breakfast was increadible, fresh juice every morning, fried eggs and lovely bread and a beautiful plate of wonderful fruits. The rooms were big and very confortable. The staff was very friendly If we come back to SL we will surely stay in Villa Kaya again

Very nice beach, people and good restaurants and shops in...

Very nice beach, people and good restaurants and shops in the village. Not huge and busy. Good place to eat and drink is Funky D Bar. Hikkaduwa was our resting place after travelling on the Eastern side during the cyclone. Unfortunately had to miss a couple of attractions but we did a day trip down to Galle Fort which was worth while - very nice.

Hikkaduwa is one of the best tourist beach spots with...

Hikkaduwa is one of the best tourist beach spots with friendly and helpful local people. The weather is cool even though we had some rain, but we stayed at the villa on the balcony watching people fishing kayaking and canoeing down the River. The beach area has some unique fresh seafood restaurants, surfing, snorkeling and you can even rent out glass-bottomed boat to see underwater world. There is also a Turtle Hatchery here and Tsunami museum for tourists. Beach is very clean.

Selection of accommodation options are many to suit your budget. Most of the properties are on the beach and with great ocean front views. You can enjoy variety of cuisines in many restaurants located close by.

Property needs full renovation. Staff needs full training. Needs full cleaning. Food so bad (had dinner & so very disappointed) nothing good to say in any aspect of this hotel. My opinion shouldn’t have any stars

Hikkaduwa has fabulous beaches but when we stayed in March...

Hikkaduwa has fabulous beaches but when we stayed in March the flags were up for no swimming as the waves were so big. This was not a problem for us as we did not want to swim particularly but people that want to snorkeor have young children that want to swim may be disappointed. Great to be close to Galle but be in a quieter location. Aboit 20 mins by car. Lots of little bars and places to eat along the beach. Beaches are quiet and less full of tourist than Galle. There are quite a few stray dogs (everywhere in Sri Lanka) which don't bother you but do be mindful that they may go to the toilet on the beach so watch where you tread!!!

The water temp was nice, waves for surfing & plenty of shops & restaurants to choose from. Close proximity to Galle by bus & snorkelling at ant of the beaches to see colourful fish + turtles.

An exceptionally beautiful hotel and very well located. This hotel really has everything you need for a Sri Lanka vacation. The rooms with a sea view are unique. What we liked most were the people there. The staff are very friendly and you always feel well looked after. The beautiful roof terrace deserves a mention. There you can enjoy the evenings and enjoy the breathtaking view of the entire beach of Hikkaduwa. We will definitely be back next year.

Our stay here was exceptional. The rooms were clean, the shower was hot and the location is fabulous. All the staff were very attentive, happy professional and kind. The hotel is located on the beach so laying in bed at night listening to the waves was incedibly relaxing. My partner and I highly recommend Neevana and the friendly staff to anybody looking for a special place in Hikkaduwa.

One of the best Boutique resorts we enjoyed in Sri Lanka. It is an 8 rooms resort. but we love their hospitality, personal care, Sri Lanka tasty food. Crab curry was amazing. We love their Cement look finish all around the hotel with Rustic joinery and antique items. Room is spacious with all the facilities; bathroom is bit small. Overall, we got more than Value for money for our stay.

I loved every moment in this hotel. It’s a very peaceful location. The view is amazing even at sunset. The owner and the staff are super kind and accommodating. The breakfast was a wide spread. I can’t recommend enough. Sri lankan people are soo genuine!!!!! The room was clean and spacious. Sun beds are available right on the beach.
