The staff were extremely kind, accomodating and welcoming. The included breakfast was excellent, as were our other two meals from the restaurant. Our room was also comfortable, spacious and had fast wifi.

The accomodation is really close to Wilpattu national park. The owner of the place and the whole staff are superb. They can cook exceptional dinner for you with local flavours. They also organize full day safaris with a really enthusiastic staff for a good price (the owner of the place is a pro photographer so they are a really good option for safari if you would like to do some wildlife photography). The safari car is a jeep which is a better alternative than a pickup according to me. Of course it is not a luxury accomodation but has really good value/money ratio.

had a great time here. The hosts were kind and demonstrated true Sri Lankan hospitality. It’s peaceful and has lots of interesting things to see around it. loads of birds and some very loud croaking frogs. A very pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

The room was very clean, cozy and with AC. The workers are very warm and helpful. They prepare home-made food which is amazing. Also we arranged with them a safari which we had to cancel because of sickness and they helped us in everything without any charge.

Unique location and building very close to the national park, great service and excellent food from Chef Sandun. Peaceful place with a nice breeze and lakes nearby for bird watching. Great organisation and care to help with planning etc by Roshan. On safari we saw a leopard, elephant and plenty of other interesting birds etc.

Great location. Nicely tucked away from the road amongst the forest. Lots of birds including jungle fowl to watch from the patio. Walk in from the road via a pathway. They met us to help carry our bags. Dinner was traditional Sri Lankan curry - vegetarian or chicken. Followed by yoghurt and fruit for dessert. Plenty of food, not spicy and was yummy. Other options for dinner were fried rice or vegetable noodles. Breakfast was packed for us for the following day safari. 2 egg sandwiches, a banana, yoghurt and water. Sufficient for the half day. The best part is the very close lake and dirt road. We went for a walk with binoculars and saw deer, langurs, crocodile, hornbills and lots of other birds and lizards too. A much better, slower paced experience and one not to miss. We booked a half day tour with the host. In hindsight we would have booked a different tour. Pillows weren't overly comfortable but was OK for 1 night.
