What an amazing place! Everything was superb. From the incredible staff who anticipated my every need, to the delicious food and the variety of activities in the area. I was truly surprised by how wonderful the place was. The property is not only perfect for those who appreciate comfort, but also for those looking to explore the nearby cultural sights. The team at the house went above and beyond to make sure our stay was unforgettable! The attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made our experience exceptional. Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay, and I sincerely hope I can return as soon as possible! Breathtaking views from the property, especially from the Deluxe apartment. Interior design is just perfect. It has all necessary facilities. Apartment was very clean. Overall it is not just a place to stay, it is a whole experience that we will never forget. I wish we could stay longer. The owner and his family extremely kind! Everything was just perfect. It's really great location. From balony you can watch elephants during their river bath. To the river when you can watch elephants you have like 30 second walk. Breakfast is included. Good one. And the staff of hotel is very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

the location is better than described and our expectations!!! ITS AMAZING!!! the elephants are in the river right outside our room /hotel /swimming pool most of the day!!! The hotel had everything you could need! As with most places in Sri Lanka a little tired in places but the staff are fabulous and nothing is too much problem (especially Udantha on reception!) loved it there ! I have to say it was hard to leave!!!

Very clean, spacious room, big bathroom, only there’s no hot hot water but it was ok of taking quick shower, comfortable bed, AC, very close to river where elephants taking a shower. Across the street is elephant orphanage. Sri Lankan breakfast very tasty.

we came because of the elephants. the hotel is very close to the elephants orphanage. every day the go to the river to have bath time. right in front of the hotels. there are actually 3 hotels with the elephants bathing view, and this one has the best view I guess. the price was also lower. the window is huge you can open the curtains and see the river. you open the door make a step and voila you are on the terrace right in front of elephants. they came at 8:30am. it was wonderful!!!!!! breakfast was not super good but it’s the same for those 3 hotels. anyway I don’t care about the food. the elephants are so nice that you forget about everything
