A wonderful retreat in the jungle a short drive from the airport. Perfect to relax after or before a long flight. The owners are happy to give valuable advice regarding money changing, SIM card, etc. Warm and personal atmosphere. Good service with tuktuk for local sightseeing in the Negombo area and with comfortable car with reliable driver for airport transfer and further travel.

We chose to stay here for a few days after we landed at midnight from NZ . Beautiful property. Very comfortable, everything clean and staff exceptionally helpful & friendly. The property is a wonderful historic house that has been maintained to a high standard. The pool is amazing and overlooks the beautiful lake. The food is really good and the property gardens are on an impressively beautiful lake.The staff , chef, manager were all incredible and made us feel so welcome. They gave us a tour of the property’s coconut grove and gardens with cuisine menu sourced from fruit and veges grown on site, as well as guided complementary visit to local temple , weavers and a bike ride around the lake.

A recently renovated guest house located in Badalgama, Suriya Homestay features a garden. This guest house provides free private parking, luggage storage space and free WiFi.

Asiri and all the team were very welcoming. They brought us wet towels and juices when we arrived. The rooms are amazing (super comfortable bed, nice bathroom, hot water, A/C working perfectly) and the pool area is also great. A small paradise not too far from Negombo center (a tuktuk ride away), but that proportioned us the best conditions to relax after such a long flight. The dinner was okay. Breakfast was very good. Thank you! I super recommend staying here.

A very nice accommodation located near Negombo. I would definitely recommend it to anyone either leaving Sri Lanka or just arriving. It’s a perfect transit point because the accommodation meets European standards – not only in terms of equipment, but also cleanliness, which is on a higher level than what is usually found in Sri Lanka. You won’t miss anything here – and at the same time, you can enjoy the authentic Sri Lankan atmosphere all around (nature, local life, traffic, and friendly people). The place is very clean, the garden and pool are always well-maintained, and everything works (air conditioning, TV, fans, fridge). It has a great location – close to the airport and just 5 minutes by Uber to the beach. The ride to the beach costs only 340 LKR (approximately 1 euro). The owners are truly kind people, and it's easy to communicate with them about anything. There are also two lovely, clean dogs and a cat on the property. The food here is excellent. For lunch and dinner, you can choose from about eight different meals, which change regularly. There is always a choice – from local Sri Lankan dishes (including fresh fish) to European-style meals, so everyone can find something they like. The owners buy fresh ingredients every day.
