Our stay at Serene Retreat was truly memorable. This place is surrounded by greenery and offered a peaceful escape from the busy city. The room was spacious, with modern amenities. It had everything you could need, including air conditioning and a hairdryer. The pool area was a real highlight — clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing with sun-beds. The food was a real highlight — the breakfast spread had a variety and catered to different tastes. The staff went above and beyond, always welcoming us with a smile and offering helpful tips about the area. It was a perfect get away for us and would love to come back again.

Very unique and beautiful accommodation, they put so much effort into every detail of the room. Only one room on the whole property and it's gorgeous, especially the floating bed and net terrace under all the trees. Very kind, warm and welcoming family. Would 10/10 recommend staying here in the Udawalawe area.

Everything was great! A lovely little cottage in a beautiful little jungle garden. The family that ran it were exceptionally friendly and couldn’t be anymore helpful. Loved having them share their knowledge of all the spices and fruits growing in their paradise! Highly recommended. ☺️

We had the most memorable experience at Dhalaya. The service was incredible and the staff were all so friendly, The breakfast was excellent and the place is sooo beautiful. The accommodation is a great deal for the price. The bed is comfortable, the air conditioning is new, there's hot water and a kettle. I also really liked how the rooms looked very nice style. The hotel is in a beautiful setting, surrounded by nature, it really feels peaceful and away from everything. The breakfast and dinner were made with care and tasted amazing. We booked our national park tour through the owners, which was really convenient. I highly recommend this place, it's affordable and well worth it!
